chapter thirty

Ashton's pov

I slowly put both my feet on the cold wooden floor, the only thing that flashed through my mind were images of me and Michael from yesterday. I couldn't get over how perfect everything was.

I pushed my body up and dripped my feet over the floor and walked to my closet and grabbed a pair of black jeans and a white t-shirt. Getting dressed wasn't really hard, usually it would take a lot of effort for me, brushing my teeth also worked out pretty fine too but when I was standing at the top of my stairs, on my way down to mum and Chase, I felt body stiffen. I haven't had a normal conversation with them in a long time. Chase was leaving later today so this was the day I had to say goodbye.

I walked down taking a deep breath for every step I take down the stairs, I continued to go into the kitchen and saw Chase sitting eating cereal as normal, "Hi.." I said, in hope of making Chase turn his head to me which he did "Hi, eh mom left early for work.." I wasn't surprised she already had left,She does this often. "Oh okay well Michael is picking me up,to drive me to school." Chase stood up and put his now empty bowl in the sink. "Michael?" Chase asked making me look down at my feet, I knew Chase didn't really like Michael,But I didn't care. I definitely had feelings for the guy and nothing was gonna change that. "Yeah he's the red haired guy, a-and we're hanging out after school..." Chase put his hands on the counter and took a breath before looking back up at me, Normally I could read all his emotions by looking in his eyes, but now I couldn't see anything, He was like a pure block of stone, "Ashton I think you need to sit down." I got chills when he talked, His voice was not like it was normally, it sounded....darker? Emotionless? Well it was definitely weird, "Chase you're kinda scaring me a little.." "Just go sit!" He said a little louder this time making me speed walk over to the chair by the dining table. "Sorry I'm just.." Chase began but didn't finish. "What is it Chase?" Chase sat down at the opposite side of the table. "Me and mom talked yesterday..and you're coming with me to America-"as soon as the words left his mouth my eyes widened "no! No Chase I'm not moving with you! My life just started to turn out okay!, and then you take it away from me!" I didn't realize how but I suddenly saw myself standing up beside the table, the chair lying on the floor from me pushing it over "Ashton this is already decided! Sorry but we all think that's the best for everyone!" "But-" he quickly cut me off "NO! It's been discussed and we have decided no buts!" And that was the last thing he said before going out, slamming the door.

I felt tears form in my eyes, but I managed to hold them back. Fuck this. Why the fuck are my own family trying to ruin me?! But worst of all how was I gonna tell Michael and Calum? I didn't get to think long due to my phone vibrating in my back pocket.

Hey babe I'm outside.

I didn't reply, only walked into the hall to put on shoes and get my bag. I headed out of the front door and looked around, before I spotted a black car in my driveway with a cute Michael in the front seat. I got outside and closed the door behind me and proceeded to walk over and enter the car. "Hi babe." Michael said before I felt him press his lips against mine,making me forget that I'm moving and wash away all the pain, "Hi." I said just smiling not wanting to tell him at all but I knew I had to, I knew that it would just get worse if I didn't tell him at all. The thought of it made my smile turn into a sad frown which Michael sadly spotted, "Everything okay boo?" He said still keeping his eyes on the road, but I felt his hand on my knee, I simply shook my head in response, "Ashton what's wrong?" A concerned voice asked as the tears started to form in my eyes, I blinked them away before looking back up. "I wanna tell you and Calum at the same time if it's okay with you?" Michael's face showed a bit of concern but mostly sadness probably because he knew what was coming. After all I already told him but maybe it didn't hit him before now.

About five minutes later the car was parked, Michael was probably in a hurry because he basically ran out of the car and within seconds he was at my side opening my door, helping me out. I thanked him before walking over to the main entrance and that's when I felt someone take my hand, locking out fingers together, I froze and quickly pulled my hand back, "What? You don't wanna hold my hand?" I heard a sad voice say, "Well yeah I do but wasn't it you who wanted to keep this down at school?" I looked up at Michael, as the boy got closer, closing up all the space between us, I felt the same warm big hand wrap back around my little one,"I'm done with that people should appreciate us being different!" I felt myself blush at his words which again made my heart flutter, He pulled away, not letting go of my hand as we walked in the door, for the first time holding hands. There were rumors about us but most people didn't believe it, I mean were weren't an official couple but we pretty much acted like one. As we walked further in I heard many people whisper behind us, but I didn't care, I was holding my sunshines hand while walking in front of people, But than it hit me,When I saw the dark brown haired, Asian looking boy waiting for me beside my locker. And the way his face lighted up when he saw us made the situation even worse,I knew it was now or never, Chase was picking me up after school to take me to the airport right away. And this was the only time I got Calum and Michael together. "Hey" he said, smirking at me and Michael when he saw us holding hands. "Now can you tell us Ashy?" Michael said out of nowhere, "Say what?" Calum said confused,  "Well yeah Ashton had something to tell us but he didn't wanna tell me alone, He wanted to tell us at the same time" "Fine but you gotta promise not to hate me after I tell you" "What?! Ashton we could never hate you!" Calum told me which made me calm down a bit" "Well um..eh i-im-" I was cut off by the school bell ringing. "Shit boo you can tell us later, I've gotta get to class! Bye!" He said as he placed a kiss on my cheek before running away. And that's when I realized, I was fucked.
