Chapter seventeen

Ashton's pov

The rest of the day went awful, I barely went to any of the classes since I kept getting beat up, why? Because of being gay of course, I could feel unbearable pain all the way through my body, the insults from strangers just going through my head, I wanted to cry but I couldn't build up the energy to do so, its been hours of this and I have to face this everyday now for god knows how long, if I could I would stay at home but since Chase is home I can't, he can't, he just can't know.

I painfully pulled my phone out of my bag to check the time, 3.10pm, fuck, I was meant to meet Michael 5 minutes ago, he is going to freak out, I hissed as I got up, pain rushing my body as I stumbled over to the car park to meet Michael. I felt a pair of arms grab me roughly to be faced with Luke, my eyes widened and I opened my mouth to speak but no words could come out so I quickly closed it again "speechless?" He asked with a smirk and travelled his hands down to my crouch making me let out a small whimper "L-luke w-why are you doing this??" "Shhh baby" he said and started to unbutton my jeans, "no L-Luke s-stop please!" I managed to shout but him only leading me onto pinning me against the wall "do as I say" he snarled "HEY!" I heard someone yell, I sprinted my eyes around the car park to see who it was, and I was very shocked.

Calum, it was Calum. Luke quickly took his arms off me and made some distance between us "what the fuck Luke?! You said you weren't going to do that anymore!" Calum said and roughly shoved Luke more away "eh I know I know, whatever bro" my eyes widened as I saw Calum tackle Luke on the floor and throwing punches at him "C-Calum stop" I whispered but he couldn't hear me " Calum stop!" I said much louder, and he did, Luke quickly got up and ran away. I just stared at Calum, still in shock "not checking me out are you?" He said with a small chuckle, making me smile slightly and shake my head "um..why did you do that?" "Because it was way out of line, he said he would stop and he didn't. Besides I heard you've had a pretty bad day too..you okay?" "Do I look okay Calum?" I said dryly, he let out a sigh and shook his head "then there you go..there's your answer.. Thanks for stepping in" I said and started to walk easy over to the other side of the car park where Michael was "ash wait!" I turned and looked at Calum who bit his lip and mumbled a small "I miss you.." "You made this happen Calum. I-I can never forgive you for that" I said and walked away over to Michael's car.

Michael's pov

I checked my watch for the third time but felt like hundreds of times, and glanced around again in search of Ashton, "hey, ready?" I heard a voice from behind me which made me jump, I turned around to see Ashton, "sure but what took you so long?" "Oh um..sorry about that..' "Ashton what happened?" "I really don't wanna talk about it okay?" He said and got into the passenger side of the car, I knew something must have happened but I decided not to push, he will tell me when he is ready.

The car ride was pretty quite, not in a bad way, a peaceful kind. After around 15 minutes I parked the car and we both got out and walked inside his house "little bro your home!" I heard a voice say from the kitchen which resulted in Ashton giving a smile "yeah I'm home" and turned to face me "I'm just going to get changed, I'll be back in a sec mkay?" "Okay ash" I said and watched him walk up the stairs, Man he really does too skinny I thought with a sigh "yeah he does" I almost jumped out of my skim hearing another voice but faced to be with Ashton's brother I assume "I'm Chase, Ashton's brother" he said and stuck his hand out for me to shake which I did so "its good to meet you, did I um.." "Speak your thoughts out loud? Yeah you did" he said with a chuckle and I felt my cheeks heat up with embarrassment "Look um, I don't really see Ashton much anymore but I had to come visit because mum told me everything that has been going on" he said with a stressed sigh "I assume your Michael right?" I nodded in response "you made a dick move. But I can tell you regret it..please just.. Look after him when I'm gone please?" "of course Chase, I'll do everything I can to help and support him" I said and saw as his eyes get teary "good..I um, I don't want him trying to kill himself again.." My eyes went wide, wait what? Ashton did that?? When? Why? So many thoughts raced through my head "Michael? Promise me you won't tell him why I'm here" "I um..I'm not too sure..he deserves to know.." "I know I know, and he will, I just, I wanna see if he will talk to me about it first" "erm.. Er..okay..fine" "thank you Michael. Thank you."he said greatfully "tell Ash I'll be home in an hour or so" he said and left the house. All I could think about is Ashton committing suicide, he had tried to, Ashton tried to kill himself, My Ashton tried to die. My Ashton.
