CHAPTER 2

Alpha Blake

The benefit about being an Alpha of one of the many strongest pacts in America is everyone listens to you, respects you, and fears you. No one ever dares to go against my will unless they're asking for trouble.

So you can imagine my anger when my own beta goes against my orders and brings not only rouge but a damn human into my own home. I have bigger things to deal with; like pact business and finding my mate.

Now don't get me wrong; I would never dare kill a human but I would never dare bring them here. In a pact. Full of werewolves. Perhaps threatening to expose our entire race.

However, as I've said before, I would never kill one. I definitely do not condone unnecessary violence and I pride myself in being a respected leader in the matter of compassion; I don't need to prove anything and my pact respects me enough to know that as well. For that, I have a strong pact: both physically and morally. Though I will admit, one thing can make it stronger: my mate.

I sighed and thought about my mate. What I would do to have her, whoever she is, in my arms. My wolf and I are getting lonely and it's affecting my Alpha duties. I find myself zoning out in meetings thinking about what she'll look like or when she'll come to me.

"Alpha seriously, this human is different we need to check her out," My beta John mind-linked me.

I growled, "Okay whatever. After that she's gone."

I huffed and went back to business before they got here. I really don't give a shit who this human is.

I heard the backdoor open and close so I got up very slowly knowing they arrived. I rubbed the back of my neck feeling stressed one again. I need a vacation.

"Alpha?"

I turned around and saw John standing in front of my office doorway. I rolled my eyes, "What does she want?"

John sighed then Daniel, my third in command, came walking in, "Just please. She's just a human."

I walked past them feeling my anger grow, "I don't care if she's human!"

What's wrong with them?

"But-"

"I said I do-" I stopped dead in my tracks as I smelt her. Her.

Oh my gosh it's her! My wolf howled, Mate!

She smelt heavenly, like vanilla and fresh air. I couldn't get enough of her already.

I saw a girl on the living room couch. She turned around slowly in my direction. My breath caught in my throat as I took in my mate.

Oh my god she's beautiful. My insides were doing a flip and my jaw hung wide opened. She had long black silky hair that complemented her gorgeous hazel eyes. My shoulders went rigid as I took in her whole body. She had beautiful curves, a flat stomach, and toned legs. Damn.

Her skin looked flawless and soft. She was practically glowing right in front of me. I saw her hazel eyes slowly check me out and I smirked. She's all mine.

"Mate," I growled. I watched amused as she shivered at the sound of my voice.

"Uhh Alpha?"

I ignored Daniel and stalked towards my mate. She did not look intimidated. Good; she'll make a great Luna. She slowly took her bottom lip in between her teeth and cast her eyes down towards my body. I could feel myself getting turned on just by the lustful look in her eyes.
