"Can we rest here?" Will groaned.
"Its only about an hour past dusk. You're fine." I sigh. Traveling with Will has turned into more of a job then caring for a small child.
"We've been riding all day. Why can't we rest just for a bit?" Will whined.
"No for the love of god. If we rest we have more of a risk of being discovered by patrols or wandering fae." I sighed.
"Fine." he grumbled.
"Thank you." I replied running my hand over my face. Will has managed to test my every nerve, I was tempted to cast a silencing spell on him once we crossed the provience border of the elves and the fae.
"Raziel...." Will started.
"Fine I'm done we will stop to rest once we are off the main trail and away from a passing patrols eyes." I interrupted him shortly.
Will only smiled in response as he had finally won this ongoing battle since night fall. I pull our horses towards a naturally made grove made of willows by a small creek. By the speed we're traveling we'll be able to cross the border around nightfall tomorrow. We'll rest here for most of the night and set out a few hours before dawn.
"I'll take watch. You sleep that way you won't complain when we leave." I said setting down with my back to a tree. I cast a simple spell to create a small fire at the center of the grove as Will slept across the grove from me.

The hours slowly slid by and nothing seemed to happen. I watched four different patrols pass close to the grove, and continue walking not noticing us. If we stay longer we're pushing our luck. Its an hour before dawn and I decide to get Will up so we can get moving.
"Why can't we wait till morning?" Will yawned.
"Need I remind you we're on a schedule." I said saddling the horses.
"Fine." Will sighed mounting his horse.
We rode on staying away from the main trails so we wouldn't be spotted by passing patrols. Although we were careful and in the complete middle of nowhere I feel as though we are being followed. I shake the feeling blaming it on the fact that we've past quite a few fae villages.

As the sun rises to the midday position we are crossing into the dwarven provience. I still have a feeling that we're being followed.
"Lets stop here to eat and rest the horses." I say.
"Finally!" Will rejoiced.
"Haha very funny." I shook my head.
We dismounted from our horses and I got bread and what was left of the cheese from my saddle bag and gave half to Will and the rest to myself. Will opened his mouth to say something but I put my hand up silencing him. I pulled out my wand and listened even closer to the sounds of the forest. I could almost make out whispers after a twig snapped.
"Someone's out there." Will whispered eyes growing wide.
I nodded turning towards where the whispers were coming from. I put my hood up to cover my face and began to part the bushes so find the source of the voices.
"Princess?" I puzzled after parting the bushes and seeing the east Elven Princess.
"See what you did." she hissed to the other girl beside her which I'm guessing is her lady in waiting.
"Get over here." I said shortly intervening.
"What are you doing here?"
"Ummmm....going on an adventure." She shrugged.
"You need to go home princess." I answered pointing towards the elven provience.
"First off I have a name, and its Isadora. Though I do prefer Iz. Secondly I'm royalty you can't tell me what to do." she said.
"Well princess you have to go home I don't want to add your kidnapping to my crime list." I said rubbing my temples.
"Call me princess one more time and see where it gets you. I'm staying, and it's not kidnapping unless it's against my will." she said pulling a dagger from her boot.
"Please just go the border is difficult to cross. You have to know where to cross and when other wise you'll most likely end up dead." I pleaded.
"Nope I'm coming. Near death experiences are kinda my thing. Lets go shall we." She said ending our conversation.
"Fine but if either of you two die its your fault and I assume no blame." I sigh, "Plus the East and West border is this way." I said pointing her in the correct direction.
"Do we have to take them?" Will whispered.
"I guess we have no choice I'd rather leave them here, but no miss princess has to go on an adventure." I whispered back.
I lead everyone back to a less traveled trail that will lead to the border. As we ride the day drags on and our schedule is pushed back because the princess had to follow. We need to cross the border at dusk to avoid attack from a passing org.

Our group is lead by me followed by Will and the Princess's lady in waiting then the princess herself takes up the rear. Our speed has slowed even more its an hour before dusk and we're still about 15 or 20 miles till we reach the border.
"Raziel we should probably rest." the princess yelled from the back of the group.
"No we can't. If we don't reach the border by exactly dusk we risk attack." I yell back.
"Fine. If Will falls of his horse it's your fault." she grumbled back.
We continue the ride on as the trail grows wider and less overgrown. This trail was last used to transport troops from one kingdom to another. Now they lie unused since the peace treaty was signed and the war stopped. I shuttered the war was fought with both men and magic and most who fought died from slow acting poisions months after they returned home. There is still tension between the kingdoms but neither have turned back to war.

I look to the sky and dusk is beginning to fall, crossing the border will be fun especially since I now not only have to get one person across but I have to get three people across.
