I woke up to the sound of shattering glass. I look around to see if I can locate where the sound came from.
"Ummm...Raziel what would you say if I told you I may or may not have broken something? Not saying I did." Isadora said walking through the door that conjoins the two rooms.
"I told you not to break anything." I sighed sitting up.
"Ok then I definitely did not break anything." she said backing through the door.
I rubbed my temples as I stood and walked to look out the window. Ever since Viviana left us here last night I've had to tell Isadora to stop touching anything and everything in these two rooms. Its only about ten in the morning yet the sun is shinning brightly. I walk over to the bedside and pick up Will's compass.
"Sorry its so late, but I brought breakfast." Viviana said walking into the room and setting a tray full of food on the table by the chair I slept in. She was wearng an emrald green dress that matched her eyes and her hair was pulled back into a neat braided bun.
"Finally we get food." Isadora exclaimed walking in from the other room, "What took you so long?"
"Well I still have to run a province as a matter of fact." Viviana answered shortly.
She then walked over to Will and began to change his bandages.
"This food is not even warm." Isadora grumbled.
"Then don't eat it." I replied.
Isadora glared at me as she mumbled to herself that she planed on killing me. She picked up the entire tray of food and stormed into the other room, slamming the door behind her.
"I should follow to make sure she doesn't break anything." Skylar said following.
"Well she's just a ray of sunshine." Viviana laughed as the door closed.
"You got that right." I replied turning Will's compass over in my hand, as I moved to sit.
"You know they're lying to you right?" she asked giving me a questioning glance.
"Who exactly?" I questioned back.
"The elves, those two in the other room." she sighed, "Do you even know why your taking him to the eastern elves?"
"I was told to transfer him to his rightful place in the hands of the eastern elves." I reasoned.
"When he gets there you'll be arrested and he will be used to open the forbidden. The forbidden contains great magic and power behind the barrier. The elves will take power and our world will change." she exclaimed.
"Okay.....where are you getting all this information?" I asked.
"You are sagacious and know that us fallen can read anothers thoughts. As well as the elves are jublient to move all their troops closer to the forbidden border." she shouted.
I took a deep breath releasing all the anger and slowly opened my hands as they had became fists.
"Raziel what are you holding?" Viviana asked coming to sit in the chair across from me.
"Just Will's compass. Its nothing special yet he was really worried about it on the ride here." I replied handing her the compass.
"Well... I don't think its only an ordinary compass...." she trailed off as she examined the symbols on the back of the compass.
"Well I've run several magic detecting tests and it has no magical use or value." I yawned.
"It contains magic that we're not able to detect," she pointed to the coat of arms carved on the back, " This coat of arms belonged to the eld king. Like the legend of the sword in the stone, the humans made this compass with magical powers. When the rightfull heir to the throne is ready to rule their name will appear on this coat of arms." she finished smiling.
"Who was the eld king? What kind of magic did he use?" I asked, with a smile spreading across my face. This all means we have a way into the forbidden.
"No one knows those 'mighty warriors' who over through him brainwashed everyone into believing that he was an awful being." she shook her head.
"You should come with us when Will is awake we can go and open the forbidden's barrier." I said with some excitment. Viviana is a great swordsman it would be nice to have another fighter in our group.
"Raziel.... I would love to come....but I can't I have to stay here and support Vincent." she sighed.
"When will he wake up?" I asked changing the topic. Since most likley staying on why she wouldn't come would lead to conversation of the past and no one wants to relive that.
"Give him another day at the most." she replied as the door swung open and Isadora walked in.
"What did you break?" I glared at Isadora.
"Nothing. We finished all the food and came over to see if there was more." She replied.
"That was all the food for you guys all day." Viviana stated shortly.
"Well I want warm food next time. Othewise I will start a fire and make it warm." Isadora replied.
"I'll see what I can do about more food. I have to go have a good day." Viviana said handing me Will's compass before she skirted out the door.
"Princess, why are we taking Will to the eastern elves?" I asked as I set Will's compass back on the bedside table.
"Umm... I think Father said something about opening the old weird castle thingy with the human person and getting power and ruling the world. Ummm and getting back what is ours and lets see ummm......overthrowing the high kings. Something like that. I don't remember. It was a really long boring meeting I was forced to be at. But I convinced Father to let me wear pants."she replied bored, while Skylar facepalmed.
"Am I going to be arrested?" I questioned further. Viviana never did lie but, I wasn't postive she was telling the truth.
"I would should arrest you for not calling me Isadora, but I hate the east elves. So I don't know" she replied.
If Viviana was right about that then she was right avout the compass. We won't be going to the eastern elves, I won't be captured that easily. We are going to take Will back to the Forbidden Kingdom. The elves must want war and tensions are still high so war may just be inevitable yet they won't have any power from the forbidden for help.
