*Raziel*
Princess finally forgave Skylar, even though she was the one who should have apoligized.
"So you did keep up with your crossbow knowledge" Viviana question as we lead the group.
"Some situations call for something other than a wand" I chuckled.
"Well if you cannot use a wand than a crossbow is not much more help, they are both ranged weapons"
"Well,"I started, she was right neither would help if you could not use the other.
"For whatever reason you kept up with it, it's a good thing since you never know what you can encounter in this kind of life" she smiled, no doubt reading my thoughts.
"The barrier is thinest where it meets the East and West border. So thats where we will try to cross into the forbidden..." I stated rather loudly so the rest of the group could hear.
"So when will we be there?" Will asked excitedly.
"It's still another half day to day long ride at this pathetic pace....."Princess groaned while hanging off her saddle.
"This pace covers the sound of the horses, any faster and we will draw attention to ourselves" Viviana glared.
"Don't make me have to turn around" I threatened, knowing Viv would read my conscience and get the joke.
This earned me a glare and compliant from princess, and Viv fell into a laughing fit.
"I don't get the joke" Will stated confused.
"That's probally for the best" Skylar replied seeing Princess' glare.
Viv finally regained composure as the entire group returned back its normal rhythm. There were legends of what awaited across the Forbidden's barrier, like dragons, griffins, and the occansional giant.

"Will, are you excited to finally get home?" Skylar asked behind me.
"Yes and no, I'm a little anxious too" He replied cautiously.
"About what? All those silly legends about dragons and other creatures" Princess chimed in riding up next to Will while laying on her saddle.
"What do you mean those are legends....t-those are real" he replied eyes widening.
"Well it looks like we are dead...." Skylar said brightening the mood.
"Well all of us but Viv" I added, earning a glare.
"What do you mean this actually might be fun you know dragons like fire and shiny objects like me"Princess added excitedly. Everyone turned to stare at her wide eyed.
"This....this...is why we are worried!" Viv screamed what we were all thinking ironicly.
"We should be safe though....right?.... right!" Will asked again.
"I'm not making any promises" Princess answered proudly.

The group fell silent as we continued deeper and deeper into Eastern Elven territory. Princess and Skylar sided with sharpening their daggers. Viv re-dipped her arrowheads in a small jar of fallen poison. Will kept looking to his compass yet he wasn't checking the direction, but the engraving on the back.
"You are not checking the direction, so what are you doing?" I inquired.
"The back is supposed to display the name of the heir to the throne over the two kingdoms, it has always said the name of King Robert the last king before the split. Yet now it is blank." he replied.
"Don't overthink it. Some magical objects tend to do whatever they want." I replied to try and ease his nerves.
Even though I didn't even know that it was magical before Viv told me. The compass is in every legend in the two kingdoms, some say the holder becomes the true heir, others say it always points to the ruins of the old castle. Then theres the legend that states that it only works in the hands of the true heir to the throne, that will reunite the two kingdoms. Or whatever else the elders cooked up around a campfire as travelers sat and tried to eat a quiet meal.
"Will are you good with any.....and I mean any weapon?" Viv questioned.
"Well I've had some training in swordfighting....." he trailed off.
"What is some?" Princess added cutting into the conversation.
"I've done it like twice...." he mumbled.
"Well....ummm....we can work at it. Next villiage is in a few miles we can stop and get you a training sword. You need some deffenses for crosing into the forbidden" Viv responded, directed more towards me since the plan was to skirt around the trading post.
"He can try a bow too. Isadora can make one with less of a draw weight." Skylar added earning herself a few glares and many hand gestures from Princess.
"Where's the fun in that!" Princess whined from the back.
"If you whine I'll turn you in....no one knows that I'm in our group." Viv repiled.
"Royal Escorter , the jokes on you we are in elven territory. And with this whole prisoner fiasco I'm Princess here too" princess said with a smirk.

"When we get to the village don't wander, and try to be unnoticed." I said as we were about five miles away.
"Sure thing Razzle Dazzle, a group like this will definitely go unnoticed...." Princess replied sarcastically.
"I have an extra cloak so Will and I can just be those random wandering wizards. No one ever really questions a Fallen, and you two are elves so there."I responed proudly.
Princesss glared in response rather than attract attention of a passing trader or villager.

"Remember we are only here to buy more rations and a training sword for Will. Aything else comes from your wallet." Viv said looking mainly at Princess and Skylar.
"Is killing aloud?"Princess asked from the back. Causing Will to look very concerned and almost fall out of his saddle.
"I'm pretending not to hear that. If you get arrested Viv will not be there to break you out. We will meet at camp five miles north from town." I said as we rode into town.
Princess and Skylar immediately rode into a tavern to get a hot and edible  food as they said. While Will, Viv and I went to the market place.

"How about this one?"I said pointing to a lighter shortsword.
Will picked up the blade "This might work..." he trailed off.
"It will do you well to build up muscle mass to balance the weight. Now a scabard"Viv finishing his thought.
"That there sword comes with the scabard of your choice from the table over there the pair will cost ya fifteen stars"the trader who ran the booth stated.
"We'll give you ten, the blade needs to be polished and sharpened, and those scabards need new leatherwork." I bartered.
".....You got a deal." the trader responded after a long pause.
