*Will*
Dusk came and Raziel became more and more tense. The trails he been leading us on look to be unused so no patrols will find us.
"We're at the border." Raziel said.
Everything was silent except for crickets chirping in the grass by our horses feet.
"See its after dusk and we are not dead." Isadora said from the back of the group.
"Yet..." Raziel answered. In the distance you could hear a tree fall, then the sounds of large foot steps. The steps began to close in when Raziel quickly dismounted.
"Quick dismount and tie your horses. HURRY!" he whispered.
We all listened to him and tied our horses to the nearest tree. Through the trees I could make out a giant creature taller than the trees.
"Now no one is aloud to die. Well except you princess." Raziel whispered.
Isadora scowled in response just as the creature came through the trees.
"Org!" Skylar hissed.
"Ok weapons. Will do you have anything that can contribute to this." Raziel asked slightly paniced.
"Ummm...I have this compass." I said pulling my compass out of my pocket.
"Well that is completely useless in this situation. Princess can you give Will a weapon." he said turning and launching a bolt of light at the monster. Isadora sighed and took a dagger from her boot and flung it at me so it landed between my feet.
"Ok....what do I do?" I panicked picking up the dagger.
"Stay alive!" Skylar answered as she launched herself at the monster.
The monster or org whatever the thing is stood taller than the trees and carried a tree sized club. The monster was the same colour as the moon and had large dusfigured teeth, set below a crooked nose. The monster only had two eyes unlike the legends I was told. The monster's club came whipping through the air towards me.
"Are you gonna die or duck?" Isadora yelled as she shot arrow after arrow towards the monster.
I dropped to the ground with my hands covering my head. Just as the club swung right over top of me. I waited a moment. All I could hear was Raziel murmuring curses and spells as the eleves yelled to each other in their own language. I slowly uncovered my head and stood. Gripping the dagger with both hands I starred at the battle. Raziel was shooting fire and lightening at the monster in more colours then I thought there was. Skylar had a dagger in each hand and was busy dodging and striking at the monster. Isadora reached for her last three arrows and fired them. Then she dropped both of her quivers and bow and ran towards the org thing with two daggers glinting red in the mooonlight. When I looked at them a chill ran through me and one thought reached my head. Death. The org took a step towards me and I fell and scrambled back. The club swung toward me and I tried to cut the monsters wrist. All I managed to do was get the dagger stuck in the club. I released the dagger before I could be pulled into the air. The org swung the club at me over and over. Then a bright light hit the club. As it cut on fire the org turned towards Raziel. As the org was distracted Isadora jumped on the club and ran up the monsters arm. I stood in shock as she reached the creatures shoulder and slit its throat. As blood sprayed over the princess the giant monster swayed on its feet. Sky walked up behind it and leaned on its ankle. I rolled out of the way as the org fell and Isadora jumped down to the ground.
"That was fun. And it involved fire! Lets do it again!" the princess exclaimed wiping her daggers and collecting the unbroken arrows from the org
"Everyone alive? Anyone have mortal injuries? ", Raziel said putting out the fire on the club, ignoring Isadora.
"I'm still here." I said checking my pockets for my compass.
"See we're not dead." Isadora laughed.
"Wait....listen."Raziel said turning to face the trees.
I strained to hear anything but ever so faintly you could hear the sound of someone loading a bow and drawing back. All of the sudden through the trees an arrow with a jet black tipcame flying through the trees. Raziel barely had time to duck before the arrow would have landed in his chest. There was a burst of pain in my right shoulder. I looked down and saw the arrow lodged in my right shoulder.
"Will....there's an arrow in your shoulder." Isadora stated.
"You think I didn't notice!"I panicked.
"Don't pull it out ok. Its a fallen arrow so its laced with deadly poision." Raziel said coming to look at the arrow.
I started to get extremely light headed and swayed on my feet.
"We have to stop the poision and fast. But theres no known antidote to fallen poision." Skylar said.
"There is an antitdote but only a Fallen knows what it is." Raziel said untying the horses.
"Hate to break it to you but fallen don't just help people for a living they would rather rip your soul out before you opened your mouth." Isadora replied.
"Well its a good thing I know one who owes me a favour." Raziel said shortly as we mounted our horses.I became less and less consious as our ride cotinued. The only thing keeping me in the saddle is a badly tied rope. Soon after we started our ride Raziel broke the shaft of the arrow off so the poision wouldn't spread faster. Raziel leads us through the trees not following one trail, while Skylar and Isadora have been taking turns making sure I don't fall out of the saddle.
We've traveled maybe a hundred miles I'm unsure since I've fallen in and out of consciousness. We begin to cross into a town with a large castle set atop a hill.
"When we get up the hill you two take Will and hide by the servents entrance." Raziel ordered.
"Where are you going?" Isadoravasked with a scowl.
"By the looks of the castle. A party." he replied. Just as I lost consciousness once again.
