"Alright, I have to admit," I smile, slowly nodding my head, "This is pretty romantic."

Jason and I were currently walking on the sidewalk to the restaurant only a few blocks away. He insisted that we should walk, and now I knew why.

The trees on the sides of the concrete paths were wrapped in lights as if it were Christmas time, although it was still early autumn.

"Yeah, but it's only the beginning." He assures with a smirk, also looking up at the trees with his hands in his pockets. Our outfits were formal, of course, since we were heading to a five star restaurant.

I slightly squinted my eyes a little while holding my small hand purse in front of my fitted grey skirt. It stopped at my knees and I wore my grey wedges with it. Jason wore a dark, midnight blue tuxedo with a white shirt underneath, the jacket buttons of course open. He could never be too formal.

I looked over at him with my narrowed eyes, "You know you don't always have to do something big for me to show you can be romantic, right?"

"Mhm." He nods, looking at me from the corner of his eyes, only turning his head to face me a little.

"Like, when you made me soup when I was sick. That was romantic," I smile, moving closer to him while leaning forward to look at more of his beautiful face.

His smirk turns into a closed smile, again only nodding and humming, "Mhm."

"Or when we were in the hotel pool, and we just stood and kissed in the water. That was romantic." I put my hand on his wrist and lowered so I could put my hand in his to intertwine our fingers.

He looks down at the contact before his green eyes flick back up to mine. His smile grows to an open one, revealing my favorite smile.

"Mhm." He hums, clearly trying to hold back his laugh. The crackish sound of his gorgeous laugh attempting to break through makes me laugh along with him.

"Mhmm." I hum mockingly, my brows raising playfully.

His head bobs sides to side in a teasing way, "Mhmmmm."

"MHHHMMMM."

We burst into new laughter, and I feel my face burning a little. My stomach began to hurt a little by the time I started calming down.

"And here we are." He announced with a grin, still clearly amused by our previous conversation. He holds the door open for me and I thank him as I pass him to enter.

The hostess's head pops up with a bright smile, eyes meeting us with sparkles in them. Her eyes were baby blue and her nose was perky, high cheek bones, and thin lips.

We walk down the few steps onto a little walkway where we approach the host stand.

"Reservation?" She smiles, sounding giddy.

"Yes, Todd." Jason answers, still clinging onto my hand and swinging our wrists a little.

She takes a short moment to look down at what I'm assuming was the reservation list.

"Yes, here you are!" She smiles, grabbing two menus, "Right this way."

She walks to the arch to the left where we follow. We walk through red velvet curtains and enter the entire the restaurant. My eyes slightly widen when I see what's inside.

Everything looks fancy and fragile, it seems as if you broke an utensil, it'd cost a good hundred dollars. There were small steps onto different platforms that lead to seats and tables, another that went to the kitchen, the another area with one of the largest tables I've ever seen. The largest, most beautiful chandelier I've ever laid eyes on hung above that table while smaller ones similar to it scattered around the ceiling. The floors were white marble and the walls were a goldish-creme color that had matching white whiskey patterns against it.
