<<That is not Brielle, it's just a size reference to show how big the bouquet is above^^>>

I wake up from the feeling of being alone in the bed, although I should've waken up from my alarm for work. My brows furrow a little, eyes remaining closed as I move my hand across the other side of my bed, seeing that it's empty and that Jason's not there.

My eyes finally flutter open to see that he's really not there, so I push myself to sit up and look around a little.

But instead, I see a huge teddy bear on my side of the bed, probably bigger than the size of Jason. My mouth slightly drops as I feel the soft fur of the teddy bear that has small brown eyes, a big brown nose, and an open mouth.

I whisper oh my God to myself before seeing two small folded cards sitting on my nightstand beside the bear.

The front of one says corny and the other says serious.

Since I'm already feeling giddy, I pick the corny card and open it. It reads: I could've swore I saw you among the angels in heaven ;)

I giggle quietly before reaching for the second card. It reads: I love you ❤ - the heart messy but cute with his handwriting.

I pout my lip a little before getting up and hugging the bear that is probably more than twice my size. It smells almost like Jason with the scent of being new on it.

I hop in the shower, taking a quick one before getting out. I put on my diner outfit and pull up my hair into a high ponytail, brushing my teeth and applying a little makeup before leaving the bathroom.

I put on my bracelet and head out to the kitchen, making some coffee and taking my time since I woke up earlier than usual. Then I head out to the living room to check traffic on the news, but I stop at what I see.

There's this huge bouquet of red roses on the table beside the Chopard gifts I bought for Jason. And speaking of the devil, the front door to my right starts to unlock and Jason enters with a Big Belly Burger bag hanging from his mouth.

He takes the bag from his lips and smiles when he sees me. "Good morning." He sounds like he's in a good mood as he kicks the door closed behind him.

"Morning." I reply knowingly, crossing my arms but unable to hold back my smile.

He comes towards me and kisses my forehead.

"So you're not gonna say anything about this stuff?" I ask as he walks around the armchair and sits in it.

His eyebrows slightly push together, "What, you don't like it?"

I wrap my arms around his shoulders and lean down behind him, "Yeah, I do-" I stop when he reaches into the bag. Grabbing his wrist, I pull it out and push up his jacket sleeve.
