Ch. 11 - Getting Revenge

*Sky's POV*

"There are those beautiful blue and purple flames." He smirks, and Me and Rin both glare at him.

"Were you the one who planned the attacks on us?" He rolled his eyes and said.

"Yes, I am. I had to see for myself what great power you two have. Well, I had to get Sky to activate her powers, and I had to get you away from your group since you don't use your powers in front of them." I clenched my fist in anger, staring at him with hatred in my eyes.

"How could you drag innocent lives into this? Like it's nothing." He shrugged his shoulder and said.

"I was just doing what I was ordered to do." Rin jumped up in the air with his sword and started to go towards him. But, one of the demons blocked his way. I was going to help him but, the other demon charged towards me.

The demon was about to strike me but, I backflipped out of the way and stab the demon. Purple flames surrounded the demon, causing it to scream in pain. I look at Rin to see that he defeated his demon as well, and that Mr. Neuhaus was gone.

"Where did he go?" Rin looked around and noticed that he was gone.

"He must have left when we were fighting the demons." He came up to me and grabbed my hand, and my heart started beating like crazy.

"How are you a demon? Because when you first came to this school, I thought you were human."

"Well, my demon powers just awakened right now. My powers were suppose to awaken when I turn 18 but, I guess now is okay." I laugh nervously scratching the back of my neck, and Rin smiles at me.

"Why were you crying, when I came in?" I sighed, well I guess I can't keep this to myself any longer.

"Because I didn't want anyone to know. If you guys did, you would all treat me differently. All I want is to, fit in." I look down on the ground, feeling sad. Rin grabbed my face and forced me to look at him.

"Well, I wouldn't have treated you differently, and besides I'm a demon like you." I stare at him in shock. Even if he found out about me sooner, he would have stood by me no matter what. I smile at him and say.

"I think we should go back before they get more worried." He nodded and we started walking back to the room.

We went to the room, and saw that the demon was gone. Shiemi saw me and ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay? I was so worried about you, I thought you were dead." Her voice cracked and I felt tear drops on my shoulder. I pulled away from the hug, and looked at her.

"I'm okay Shiemi and besides, you can't get rid of me that easily." She laughed and pulled me into another hug.

"Are you okay?" She pulled away from the hug and nodded. Then, Yukio and Neuhaus walked in. Me and Rin looked at each other. I shook my head at him signaling him not to do anything. But, he didn't listen to me.

"Yukio. He's. Our." Then out of nowhere Mephisto kicks Rin, causing him to fall. We look around to see other exorcist coming out from hiding places.

"What the hell is going on?" I ask looking confused. Mephisto smirks happily.

"Hello fellow ex-wires, as you can see this is not bootcamp. This is the first part of the exam, the exorcist that came out of their hiding spots were watching you and testing you, to see if you were good enough to pass. In a couple of days, we will be back with the results on who passed or not." He walks out with all the exorcist, and we start freaking out.
