Ch. 14 - Welcome Home!

*Sky's POV*

I woke up to see that I was being carried in someone's arms, and that I wasn't in the human world. I look around me to see, destruction like nothings here anymore.

"I see your finally awake, my lovely bride. Oh and by the way my name is Amaimon." I look up to see Amaimon, staring at me with a smile. Wait! Did he just say BRIDE?

"Wait Amaimon, what are you-"

"I was fighting and talking to your boyfriend well, ex boyfriend. While we were fighting, I felt like I was surfing on the beach - it was awesome." What the hell is he talking about? He completely ignored my question. Wait! EX- BOYFRIEND?

"Amaimon-"

"And what's up with humans, and playing with this thing called video games?"

"AMAIMON!" He looked at me surprised, and stayed silent as I continued on. Finally. "What the hell is going on?" He gave me a serious look and sighed. He knew that I wasn't going to like what he was about to say.

"Your Father wanted you here, with him. The only weakness he has - is you. He spent years trying to find you and your Mother." I shook my head, not fully comprehending what he was saying.

"No, he doesn't care about me or my Mother. The reason he's doing this is for his selfish needs." He shook his head and chuckled because, he knew that I wouldn't believe him. So, then he said.

"Then let me show you." I looked at him confused, and he smirked at me. Then, he put his hand on my forehead, and I was put into a deep slumber once again.

*Flashback(17 years ago)*

I look around me to see that I'm in the Kingdom, and Amaimon beside me.

"Where are we?" I say looking confused on how we got to the Kingdom so quickly.

"Well, we're in the flashback of 17 years ago. Instead of telling you, I decided to show you." I nodded understanding, and then somebody shows up.

"Wait! Is that my Father." I say looking at the frantic man before me. I have only heard his voice but, I haven't seen what he looks like.

He had black hair like me but with horns on his head, blue eyes, and he was also tall and big. (Suck at describing)

He screamed and started tearing the room apart, I jumped back and let out a small gasp. A Women who seems to be a maid, walks in and looks at the horrible sight of the room.

He looked at the Women, with anger on his face.

"WHERE IS MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER." He shouted in her face and, she stepped back in fear.

"I-I don't k-now, I saw them here an hour ago." He still looked at her, and then he slapped her across the face. I look at her with sympathy in my eyes, as she was falling on the floor.

"Even though you look at her with sympathetic eyes, she still can't see you." I rolled my eyes at Amaimon's comment, and hit him on the arm.

"I know that already." I say as I keep on staring at my Father.

"Get out of here - you disappoint me, you can't do your job right." He snapped, she stumbled up, and quickly left the room.

Then, Amaimon came into the room.

"You know you didn't need to slap her," my Father stood there not saying anything. "Well, looking at the room, something is wrong so, what is it?"

"My wife escaped Gehenna with my child." He sat down on the edge of the bed, and Amaimon sat down with him.

"Don't worry, you'll get your child back." He smirks and stands up.

"She will pay for this, for taking my child away from me. I will get Sky back, and your gonna help me."

*flashback over*

I opened my eyes to look at Amaimon in shock, and he just looked at me, not saying anything.

"Why did you show me that?" I said looking into his eyes, searching for some kind of answer, since he wasn't saying anything.

"We're at the Kingdom already." He said slowly putting me down. I looked at the Kingdom amazed.

I stopped walking and I realized that, I'm going to be seeing my Father for the first time, in a while.

Amaimon noticed this and came up to me, and put a hand on my shoulder.

"It's okay to be nervous, you know that right?" I shook my head and chuckled lightly.

"I'm not nervous I just don't want to see him, but I know that I have to," I sighed. "Anyways, lets go."

We walked up to the front gates, and opened them.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a maid.

"Lady Nightingale, King Amaimon," she bowed and then said. "Lord Katsuo has been expecting you. Come right this way."

She started walking to the direction of where Katsuo is, and we followed her.

We arrived at the front door, she opened the door and let us in.

"Lord Katsuo, she has arrived." I couldn't really see him because, he was hidden in the dark.

"Thank you, you may go." She bowed, and left.

We all stood there in silence, then he stood up and walked out of the darkness.

He looked the same as he did years ago. He looked at me and smirked in triumph, over the fact that he finally got what he wanted.

He slowly walked towards me, and I slowly walked backwards until, I was backed into the wall.

He put his hand on my cheek, and stared at me with that smirk. Then the next thing I know, I was pulled into a hug.

I just stood there not knowing what to do. Is it wrong for me not to feel anything? What should I do? Do I hug him?

Was Amaimon right about his intentions?

He pulled away and said.

"Welcome home, my daughter. Now shall we discuss our plans?" I looked at him and Amaimon, not saying anything.
