Ch. 27- Consumed by Darkness pt. 3

*Sky's POV*

"Mami? Mami!" I screamed her name, hoping that she would hear me. Rin is right, I shouldn't give up because I have something worth fighting for, I can't believe that I had forgotten everything.

"Get out of my head Sky."

"Then get out of my body Mami."

"You and I both know that this is what's best for the both of us."

"What's best for us? More like what's best for you." I sighed in annoyance. How am I suppose to get out of here?  I walked straight ahead to see if there was a way out when all of the sudden I was sent flying backwards. I groaned in pain as I got back up. I walked towards that area and touched it again. There was a barrier. I banged on it in frustration and kept on banging on it.

"You know banging on the barrier won't help you." I turned around to see a woman standing behind me. she was wearing a white dress she had red hair and red eyes. She looks so beautiful. 

"Who are you?" I asked trying to take out my sword but I realized that I didn't have it with me.

"I am your aunt Eda." I stared at her in shock. Wow I thought she would be much older than that but it looked like she hasn't aged at all.

"Thank you," She looked at me confused on what I was talking about as I continued on. "For helping me and my mother escape Gehenna. If it weren't for you then me and mother wouldn't have had a better life," after I said that she gave me a small smile. "Oh and I thought you were going to be way older." An anime vein appeared on her forehead as she yelled.

"NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO TALK ABOUT MY AGE. I came here to tell you that in order to wake up, you have to break through that barrier." I looked at the barrier and shook my head.

"How am I suppose to break through that?" I asked believing that what she was saying was not possible. "I don't know how to use my power that well." I started to freak out. I don't think I can do this. I felt aunt Eda's hands on my shoulders. I looked at her as she said.

"Hey you can do this, you just have to have the power to believe that you can. You have a reason to get out of here and that's your family. You're the one who put up this barrier, now your the only one who can take it down." I nodded feeling more confident then before. I put my hand and used as much power as possible on the barrier to break it. The barrier glowed out of control and then it shattered into pieces, and a door appeared in front of us.

Me and Eda both looked at each other and she nodded letting me know that it was okay.

"Once you walk through that door, you can have full control of your body again." I nodded and was about to open the door but stopped and looked at my aunt for the last time to say.

"Thank you." Then I walked out of that door.

*Mami's POV*

I was just about to deliver the final blow to Rin but then a force stopped me. I pushed him back causing him to fall to the floor.

I clutched my chest because I felt like my soul was being ripped out of this body. How is that possible? Unless... No! No! NO! She broke the barrier.

The last thing I saw was Rin running towards me then, I was consumed by darkness.

*Sky POV*

I opened my eyes to see Rin running towards me, looking like he wants to kill me. Maybe he thinks I'm still Mami! My eyes widened as he came closer to me.

"STOP! Rin it's me Sky." His eyes softened as he looked at me but he kept his guard up.

"How do I know your not lying?" I smirked at him and walked towards him and said.

"Well if I was lying then I wouldn't do this." I gave him a small peck on the lips. When I tried to pull away, he grabbed me and pulled me into a deep long passionate kiss.

"Okay I get that your reuniting with each other but now is not the time to be doing this." We pulled away and turned to see everybody staring at us. We both blushed in embarrassment. Then out of nowhere I feel Shiemi hugging me.

"What are we going to do?" Everyone looked at me as if I was their leader and I sighed.

"We need to find a way to close the gate but for us to do that we have to get through Satan and Katsuo." How are we going to get past them? Bon, Shima, and Konekomaru stepped forward as Bon said.

"We will take them on, we can finally defeat them." We all looked at them in shock and fear. I know that this is not a good idea, are they strong enough to handle this? Izumo rolled her eyes and chuckled

"Are you stupid? You guys aren't strong enough to defeat Satan and Katsuo. You should quit while your ahead," Shura continued on "Yeah guys think this through your not ready." An anime vein appeared on Bon's forehead as he sighed in a annoyance.

"Well that's what you think. If we all work together, we can actually defeat them." Shura shook her head.

"Fine, I'm tired of arguing about this. This is what's going to happen, Sky, Rin, and Yukio you guys are going to close the gate. Me, Bon, Shima, Konekomaru, and Shiemi will stay here and fight Satan and Katsuo. Izumo and Akiko you will help people that are in trouble and come back immediately, is that understood?" We all nodded but all of the sudden, the gate's eyes shot out red lasers to the ground causing all of us to fly backwards to the ground.

"Rin! Sky! Are you okay?" We nodded as we got up.

"What's that?" Rin asked looking afraid.

"It's a dimensional tear my guess is that their expanding the gate that Sky created, so it's big enough to swallow Assiah." One of the demons blew out fire from it's mouth towards us and we all dodged it. I sighed. Well so much for our plan. I should have know that they wouldn't let any of us leave.

"YES! OUR DREAM IS COMING TRUE." Satan and Katsuo laughed as they caused more damage. Then two demons came towards Shura and Shiemi and blew out fire.

"NO!" I screamed. 

"WATCH OUT!"

"SHIEMI!" Rin yelled as the fire came closer to them. But then just in time a guy with blonde hair and a huge sword came and saved them.

"To you villains who would crush innocent flowers such as these, I Arthur Auguste Angel shall deliver justice."

"It took you long enough baldy."

"I can handle this one just sit back and watch the fireworks." Arthur ran towards Satan and Katsuo.

"Hey! Don't tell me what to do." Rin and Bon said simultaneously as they ran after Arthur.
