Ch. 24 - The Wedding

*Rin's POV*

Me, Shiemi, and Yukio were walking in silence to Mephisto's office because he wanted to talk to us about something.

"I wonder what Mephisto wants to talk about." Shiemi said and I sighed not caring about it.

"Well whatever it is, I just want to get this done and over with." Shiemi and Yukio looked at me with pity in their eyes. Everyone's been looking at me like that since....

The person that I love has been taken away from me.

I want nothing more than to hold Sky in my arms and never let her go. I stopped walking and looked down on the ground, staring at nothing. Kuro snuggled closer to me to make me feel better. I looked at Kuro and gave him a small smile.

Shiemi and Yukio stopped to look at me. Yukio came up to me, rested his hand on my other shoulder and gave me a resurring smile.

"Come on Rin, we have to go see Mephisto." I nodded and we all continued walking.

We arrived at Mephisto's office to see him with Akiko, Sky's mother. We all looked confused as to why she was here.

"Now that everyone's here, I can tell you the news. Please sit down." We all sat down and waited for the news.

He sighed, took a deep breath, and said.

"I have been informed that Sky and Amaimon will have their wedding here in two days." We all looked at him in shock.

"WHAT!" We all said simultaneously, standing up.

"Why the hell would they want to do that?" I stood there not saying anything as the rest of them kept talking. She agreed to marry him. No I don't believe this - I can't.

"This is most likely her father's doing. I know my daughter, she would have never agreed to do any of this. His plan is finally coming into motion."

"What plan are you talking about, Akiko?" Yukio asked slightly worried that the situation is serious. 

"She means the plan where Katsuo invades Assiah and makes it the new Gehenna by using Sky." We turned to look at Mephisto.

I was about to say something but Shiemi beat me to it.

"Well, what are we waiting for? we have to create a plan to stop this before it's to late." Me and Yukio nodded, agreeing with Shiemi.

"These kids are right, Mephisto. But it's not going to be easy, with the fact that she going to go through her transformation and she will be an unstoppable beast. Also, her sister is trying to take over her body." We all turned to look to look at Akiko, yet again in shock.

"WHAT! SKY DOESN'T HAVE A SISTER! AND SHES NOT A DEMON!" Akiko cringed by the sound of our loud voices. I knew that Sky was a demon, but I didn't know that she had a sister. Maybe she didn't know herself.

"Okay you guys really have to stop talking simultaneously like that, it's creepy. Just relax and I'll tell you," We nodded and she continues. "There was a prophecy on Sky stating that on Sky's 18th birthday she will fully turn into a demon and her heart will turn into darkness," Everyone gasps. "But that's not all, Sky and her sister Mami are apart of a prophecy called fate of the blood twins. It states that a mother gives birth to twin girls. One is a demon while the other is human. If one of them dies, their spirit lives on into the next twin, and that twin can take over the other twins body. I escaped Gehenna with Sky in hopes of saving her from all of this. The reason why she didn't tell you she had a sister is because all of her memories have been taken away by her aunt Eda. " I walk over to Mephisto's desk and slam my fist on it. Startling everyone around me.

"We have to save her no matter what. Her life depends on it. Sky is probably relying on us right now." Akiko chuckles and puts her hand on my shoulder and gives me a small smile.

"Easy there kid, I get that you're in love with my daughter but we can't save her without a plan." Everyone chuckles when they see my blushing state.

"She's right Rin, don't be an idiot." An anime vein appears on my forehead.

"Shut up, four eyes." Dark shadows cast under Yukio's eyes.

"Who are you calling four eyes? Slacker."

"Is that even an insult?" We kept on arguing as everyone laughed at us.

*Sky's POV*

I opened my eyes to see that I was in a cell, with chains wrapped around my wrists and ankles.

I knew that it was no use trying to struggle. These chains completely cut off my magic, I can already feel my magic slowly being sucked away from me.

"Are you okay, Lady Nightingale?" I look up to see the maid staring at me with a worried look on her face.

"No, I'm not."

"You shouldn't be sad lady nightingale. You are getting married in two days to a person who loves you." I burst out laughing as the maid stared at me like I was insane.

"Sorry, I just needed to let that out," She nodded understanding and allowed me to continue. "Amaimon doesn't love me, he just loves my looks because I look exactly like my sister Mami." She looked shocked by everything I said but she also looked at me in sympathy.

"Well, I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope that you will find someone that loves you as much as you love them." I smiled at the thought of Rin and said.

"I already found someone. I just need to get back to him."

*Two days later*

During these two days, Katsuo found it in his big evil heart to give me a room to stay in but he still kept my chains on.

"Lady Nightingale, it's time to get dressed for your wedding." I sighed sadly. I looked at the maid Martha and gave her a small smile.

"Okay, Let's begin." I stood in front of the big mirror in the room. Martha slowly undress me and I was left in my undergarments. While Martha was dressing me up she said the words that gave me a smile on my face

"This is my present to you. Happy birthday - my lady," I stared at her in surprise as she motioned to my dress. I turned around and gave her a big hug and said. "Thank you so much Martha." At first she looked shocked but she hugged back. We got out of the hug, and made our way to the main doors.

I may not like this whole wedding situation but I do like this dress.

Amaimon and Katsuo both stare at me as I walk down the stairs towards them. I finally reach them and Amaimon tries to touch me but I flinch away from him. This causes him to get angry and wrap one of his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"You look beautiful my soon to be wife, shall we get going now, father?" I cringe at the fact that he called Katsuo "father". I sighed shaking my head, I really wish I wasn't useless at this point, or else I would have escaped from here.

"Yes, we shall my son."
