I said remember this moment, in the back of my mind
The time we stood with our shaking hands
The crowds in stands went wild
We were the Kings and the Queens
And they read off our names
Jordan stared at the cheering crowd. All of them stood on the dais, blinking in the sunlight. Ant stood beside him, both nervous. Jordan flinched when he felt a pressure on his hand, and found Ant's hand had slipped into his own. The others were as nervous as they were, Jordan could see Adam shaking down the line, and Ty attempting to calm down their fearless leader.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, People of Minecraftia." The old King called. The cheers slowly died away, and the king smiled. "Theses men and woman standing in front of you are heroes. They lead an assault on Herobrine in the Nether, and successfully defeated him." The screams of joy returned. "Adam, Ty, Ian, Mitch, Jerome.." The king began to read off names, and as each was called, the person stepped forward and received a medal.
"Jordan" Jordan shook, but stepped forward, shaking the King's hand, and taking the medal, before falling back in line beside Ant, taking the other's hand.
The night you danced like you knew our lives
Would never be the same
Ant smiled, taking a sip from his cup. Rainbow colored lanterns were strung about, casting a glow about the courtyard. People danced about, lively music playing. Ant spotted Jason standing with the musicians, directing the music. Adam and Ty were dancing, Jerome and Ian chasing Mitch with what looked like sacks of flour. Ant chuckled, watching the two dump the white dust onto the Canadian's head. He directed his attention somewhere else, and his eyes landed on Jordan. The man was dancing in the crowd, his face full of happiness. Ant sighed, and watched him, wishing he had the courage to go out there and dance with him.
You held your head like a hero
On a history book page
It was the end of a decade
But the start of an age
Ant glanced over at Jordan when the king said it. His face was passive, chin held high. To be honest, Ant would have mistaken him for something out of a book, or even a king.
"These people in front of you will become rulers. They will assist me in governing this land. Each will protect, rule and govern an area to their best ability. They will all report to me. And when I die, Adam will replace me as King of the realm." Ant's heart raced. What happened if his area wasn't anywhere close to where Jordan was. Jordan looked over, and grabbed Ant's hand, giving it a light squeeze. Ant looked up at the bright blue eyes, and saw all the pain, hope and determination in his eyes. "We'll be fine."
Long live the walls we crashed through
All the kingdom lights shined just for me and you
I was screaming long live all the magic we made
And bring on all the pretenders
One day, we will be remembered
Flashback
Ant stared as the walls to the strong hold. He looked around. The pigmen were falling, mobs disintergrating at his feet. Ty, Adam and Jason were taking on Herobrine himself, lightning coming from the red sky. The others fought around him, taking prisoners. Soon it was silent, except for the battle between the three and Herobrine. Jordan walked up next to him, and he felt relief that the retired music producer was alive and relatively unharmed. Adam disarmed, Ty gave a quick slash, and Jason delivered a kick that shoved Herobrine to the ground. Sky pointed his sword at Herobrine's throat.
