The other day I went to the doctor. It was the first day of my 3rd month. I was determined. I would miscarry the child. It wasn't really normal to be pregnant. Something was wrong. I wasn't normal either but now I would be less not normal. There was one problem. The doctor wouldn't let me do this. No! I would explain to him. It's my belly. It's my baby. It's my decision. And I explained to him. He was against to this, but I told him that he is not my father and if he didn't want to do this, I could go to another doctor. He remained calm and told me to have a small conversation, just a couple of minutes. I agreed.
- I just want to ask. Is it good that I am pregnant? I mean, women can't give birth nowadays.
- Yes, but that's bad. It means that in a couple of years there will be no humans. The human species will completely disappear. Do you know how this happened?
- No, I actually don't.
- A new law came out from all the governments and forbid women to give birth. It became illegal. They also required the doctors to stop women's period, so none of them give birth secretly. They made a hormone, similar to this women have when their period hasn't stopped forever, so they can be normal and don't start getting old.
- Why for?
- Because the population had grown much in recent years. But now the population has been decreased.
- Why can't women give birth now?
- That's because women didn't gave birth for years. Their body changed. Their breast is now small, similar to men and they don't have a period anymore. They all have this hormone scientists made. That's why their mood isn't so good. They all wear only pants like men and none of them take care of their appearance. They don't put make up on their face, they don't wear dresses and skirts like you. You look like a nice girl. But most of women feel and dress similar to men. The only good thing is that the two sexes are now balanced and equal, everywhere. In all countries, without exception. This decision changed everything, every rule that had to do with the two sexes.
- You mean I am normal?
- Yes but unfortunately now you are different from others so it will be difficult for someone to accept you.
He was right. The first guy I talked at V didn't want sex, he was just making fun of me, of my appearance. And I just realized it. That was really disappointing. And this 40 year old man on the date. He looked at me really weird because I was wearing makeup and a dress. But all those guys I had sex with. They might missed the old days when all women were like me.
- And all this kids in the adoption center? How do they exist?
- Those kids were made by scientists. Every year, every adoption center - like the one where you work - take sperms and ova from people and make children. And then families go there to adopt them.
- Wow!
- Yeah, I know.
- Why am I pregnant? This is the most important question.

He asked me a couple of questions and we finally found out the answer. My grandmother was a feminist so she would never follow such a law. That's why she was hiding. She never went to the doctor to stop her period. She was lucky that no one ever discovered her. According to the doctor if they found her they could kill her. It was a really strict law. So she gave birth to my mum. My mum followed the same steps and gave birth to me. When I was 11,5 years old my parents died in a car accident. So I started living with my aunt ( my father's step sister), that she couldn't give birth. So no one knew that I could give birth. Either myself. Till now.
- Do you still want to eliminate the child?...he asked me with a big smile
He knew my answer that's why he was smiling. My answer was no. I might be the only person who could give birth. The doctor also told me that my belly was too big for 3 moths so I might give birth to 2 children. If they are both girls, the women that can give birth will be multiplied and in many years it might go back to normal. So I definitely wanted to save the human species.
A few days later I got really sick so I stayed at home. You know, classic pregnancy symptoms, but largely. Although I was sick I logged in to V. I haven't logged in for like 2 months. I started again my research for a step father. I just had to wait someone to call me. I could call too, because nowadays it's not necessary the men to do the first move. Women can too, but as a normal/different for the epoch girl I wanted to wait for the man to call. A few minutes later someone called. An 80 year old man appeared in my computer screen.
- Whoa! This isn't a website for grandchildren if you are looking for that, but I work in a adoption center so I can give you the address...I said laughing
- I am looking for sex. I was looking for a woman near my age, but you are welcomed too.
- Uh well, are you looking for a relationship or just sex?
- Just sex. I am too old for a relationship. In your age you can be my house nurse and not only...he said and he pecked
- Oh god no. I am looking for a relationship and a step father for my child.
- Wait a minute. Are you pregnant? That's impossible. You can't be....
He didn't managed to end up his sentence, he fell down.
- Are you alright Mr sexypatato? Who 80 year old man puts such a username?
Anyway I didn't got an answer. Probably he was dead. I tried to find were he lived in his information but I couldn't find anything, so I just hanged up. I couldn't do anything. Then I just remembered my conversation with the doctor. I am the reason that somebody died. Every single person is precious in our epoch. According to the doctor these children -those who are made by scientists and doctors don't live so long, so the elderly people are the ones who live normally, till 100 years old or a bit less. So I just killed a person that a woman gave birth to. That was sad.
After that I started searching for men again, near my age. There was no one looking for a family. I was ready to give up. I realized that what men don't like in me is that I am pregnant. The problem isn't me, but the baby, or babies in case they are two. So what I am looking for does not exist. I can't find a step father for my baby. And I am sure that the real father wouldn't want his baby. So I am gonna raise my child alone. I can call Lana tomorrow to ask her for help if she isn't still mad at me. My thoughts went to this grandpa. Poor man. I didn't meant it. I went again to his profile and I saw that he had blocked me. Oh my,he played dead to avoid me. Jerk.
After searching again - I wanted to be sure - I ended up that there is no man who wants his girlfriend/wife to be pregnant. Because it isn't usual anymore. So I am different and I have to accept that.
After 1 week Lana finally accepted my entreaties and came to my house to help me. She made me a surprise! She brought me stuff for my babies. She is such a kind person If she wants to. I left them in the corner of the living room. I wanted to open them with my lovely babies. I was pretty sure they were 2. My belly was really big.
- So, what are you up to?..she asked and sat in the couch
- What do you mean?
- Will you really plan to raise the babies alone?
- Yes, I told you.
- I thought you were joking.
- No, no one wants a pregnant girl.
- Look I know it's hard but keep looking. You will find someone. There's always someone for everyone.
- Not for me...I said and sat next to her
- Rydel! You are the only woman who can give birth to children. Everyone should respect you. Everyone will respect you. You might be dead, but they will one day. Because you will make things like they were before. You will be famous one day, unfortunately not soon, but you will. But first you have to believe in yourself.
- Everyone thinks I am weird. That there's something wrong with me. They don't accept me. They might accept me one day but it will be late. I will be a very old then. I think I am not gonna be famous. Why aren't I famous already? I mean, too many people know about me being pregnant and the only thing they do is making fun of me. If what I have was good I would be already famous and they would use me to make many children to bring back the balance in the nature. But they don't want to! Governments want to control the population, but what they don't know is what my doctor said to me. Those babies, made by scientists and doctors don't live so long like normal people. When normal people die there won't be anyone to make children. When those children die the human species will disappear forever. That's why I keep those babies. To save the world. I might be known as a bad person who tried to defend governments, but I don't care because I will help people and Mother Nature.
