Maturity is part of moving on.

"I'll go get you food. You stay here, okay?"
I could only nod at him. He smiled a little before going out. He was accommodating me since we got back at the hotel. Prepared me a bath, gave me movies to watch, gave me blanket and I think every single thing you do to a sad person. What's with him?
Still can't get over from a while ago. Tomorrow. Would I see him tomorrow? Even just in my wildest dreams? And if so, I wish I could talk to him. Even just for the last time.
Vash Calling...
"Advance happy birthday." I greeted with a small smile.
"Did you cry? What happened?"
"Hey, I just greeted you. Can't I get a thank you?" I joked.
"Thank you. But seriously, what happened? Where's Kai?"
"He went out to buy food. And, I watched a movie." I lied. I waved up a Drama-kind-of-movie at the laptop screen.
"Oh. So, how are you? What'd you get me?"
"I'm fine. I was supposed to get you something, but I decided to stay in the hotel. You know, adjusting to the weather." Sorry for lying.
"You know, I just want one thing for my birthday." He said with a smile.
"What is it? Do they have it here?"
"Yes. They kind of do."
"What is it? Maybe I can---"
"You."
"What?"
"Haha I was joking. Hey, I gotta go. Mom's asking me to go with her to buy some foods. I'll call you late or tomorrow, okay?"
"Yeah sure. Say hi to your mom for me."
"Will do. I'll be back. I love you!"
"Bye." I soft whispered and smiled before hanging up.
I just couldn't say it yet. I don't know if it's because I'm scared or I really just.. you know.
"Sorry, the line's a bit long."
"You bought all the foods I want from McDonalds, but you actually forgot something."
"Oh, shoot! I forgot the fries. Sorry. I'll go--"
"Nah, it's okay. Thank you."
He just patted my head and sat beside me in the bed. He just happily watched me eat. Seriously, it's creepy.
"Go ahead." I said.
"What?"
"Come eat with me."
"I'm fine. And I bought that for you."
"Yeah, said the guy who's been holding his stomach and wincing in pain already."
"But..."
I cut off a chicken and shoved it in his mouth. I think it's fun when you eat with someone. And he's been good to me.
"Thank you." He said in a sarcastic tone.
"Gusto pa susubuan." I whispered.
"Hey! I heard that."
And we just laughed it off. I never laughed this long since that 'thing' happened. Not even with Vash. It feels great.
"So what now?" He said while we lie down on the bed.
