[Early Morning]
"Good morning."
She yawned before answering with a smile, "morning."
"I ordered breakfast. We'll be meeting the clients in the afternoon. Then maybe we could have our little talk?"
She slowly nodded her head before remembering something, "Oh! I'll just call Vash. It's his birthday and I want to greet him."
Kai felt a soft pang on his chest. He could only nod at her before turning his back on her. He just hates it that she remembers him during their little moment. He heard her soft giggles behind him. She must be talking to him already, he thought.
"Okay, you go enjoy your birthday. Send my regards okay?"
He can't help but listen to their talk, even though he knows that it'll just hurt him.
"Okay. Be careful, okay? Say my hi to Kai. Love you!"
"Bye, Vash." She whispered with a smile.
Kai furrowed his brows. Why didn't she say it back? Is it already his time to jump for joy or just feel kinda sad for his friend. He doesn't know.
He just felt two hands on his shoulders which made him go back to his senses, "let's eat?"
He smiled before he nodded. They were quietly eating, but this silence isn't awkward, it's comfortable.
"I'm wondering who our clients would be." Sasura wonderingly said.
"Me too. The dean didn't tell us. But by the looks of it. Maybe it's her friend."
She just shrugged and continued eating. After a while, they prepared themselves for a walk before meeting the client.
"A stroll in the park?"
"Ah, yeah. Just a simple hang out."
Kai just nodded before he drove off. When they reached the park, Sasura went off first. He analyzed the park himself.
And his head started to ache. He felt dizzy that's why he kept a hold of his car. He was feeling good this morning. He wondered.
"Kai!" She waved up at him from afar.
"Coming!" He started running up to her.
"Sorry. Just forgot something in the car." He lied.
"Ah..." Was all she could say.
They happily stroll around the park. They didn't mind. They still got an hour or so before the meeting anyways.
"Does couples really flirt in this kind of public place?" Sasura asked.
"Well, maybe they find it a simple date or whatever."
Sasura just scoffed at rolled her eyes. Yeah, talk about the girl who's bitter. Kai chuckled at her before holding her hands.
"Just so you don't bother them." He said and winked.
She just shook her head at his silliness. She actually didn't mind. Just her mind, heart and soul minded it.
"Hey, uhm..."
"What is it?"
"C-can we go to the cemetery tomorrow?"
