Don't worry. Be happy.

KAI

"Go on. Call him."

"I don't want to." She whined.

"Things won't get any better." I said, mocking her.

She groaned before composing herself. She sighed deeply before she tried contacting Vash. But then her face saddened.

"He's not answering."

I wonder what got into that guy. Just back then he would punch me just because I did something to Sasura and now he's doing this? Impulsive! I know he loves her --- so much. But why?

"Call your parents instead?" I asked with a smile.

She nodded happily before calling her parents. The moment she heard their voices, she was on the verge of crying already. She looked at me before I nodded.

"I miss you so much." She cried. I signaled her that I would go out first and she mouthed 'thank you'.

I nodded and went outside our room. I wanted them to have their time and privacy so I went out. I think I'll just wander around. The hotel is pretty big anyways. I also decided to buy food for our dinner. There's a store nearby.

I went out and went inside the store. I think I should buy many food as much as possible. She sure is sad, so.. yeah. I bought all the food and things we need for the weeks. I hope everything's okay back home.

"Oh, sorry." Someone said, we bumped at each other.

"Sorry. I was thinking of something." I said as I helped him stood up.

"Kai? What are you doing here?" Oh, it's Shinan --- wait, what?!

"I bought food for me and Sasura. You?"

"Oh.. I came from my studio. Thought I'd stop by."

I just nodded and awkwardness took over us. I thought this kind of awkwardness only occurs with a boy and a girl, guess I'm wrong. Suddenly, he spoke.

"Do you have a minute?"

"Ah yes, sure."

We went to the nearest park and I texted Sasura that I'll be coming back after a few minutes.

"So.. what'd you want to talk about?" I opened.

"How's Sasura?"

"She's fine---"

"I mean, when you were still not here." He asked sternly.

I heaved out a sigh before speaking, "I know I'm not the one who should be telling you, uh, but she's not fine. I know. Even though she doesn't tell me I can feel it. I'm gonna tell you this because I know she's your friend."

He nodded quietly while listening to me. And this is also good since I can talk to him with close identity.

"She's smart, kind, but distant. Her scars? She got it from our schoolmate. She got bullied over and over again and nearly died, but didn't say anything."

"W-what?! Bullied?! Jeez." He said as he massaged his temple.

"Yes. But good thing her body didn't give up on her."

He nodded before looking at me, "I entrust you with her, Kai. Please take care of her. Don't let her do anything foolish. I know she's still in the state of pain. When she says she's hungry, feed her right away. 'Cause if she doesn't, she could have that severe tummy ache."
