I shadow traveled to Apollo now. Hades was successful. That was definitely a good sign.

Apollo is probably nice too! I thought.

"Lord Apollo, will you please rate Will Solace a ten?"

"My son, will solace?"

"Yes, lord."

"No. If he decided to break a promise like that, he deserves to die."

My heart splattered on the floor.

"Please?"

"No."

"But he-he he is your son!"

"I know that."

I was sobbing.

How could he? It's his son!

"Will! Ap- apollo said n-no!" I said, still crying.

He smiled sadly.

"You have to survive!"

He shook his head.

"Yes you do! I'm going to ask the other gods if they will rate a ten! Maybe...maybe they will!"

He shook his head again.

I shadow traveled to all of the gods, but they all had the same answer. I was depending on Aphrodite now.

"Honey I'm busy. Come again later."

"But-"

"Come again later!"

I left, crying.

"Will no one said yes!"

He took a pencil and wrote (a little sloppy but who can blame him?)
It's okay. You will still survive if I die.

"No! I won't survive! The bullies will be worse! And I love you! And who would I eat with? Who would call me sunshine? Who would be my solace?"

Then he dropped the pencil, exausted.

Austin, another child of Apollo, came in.

"Visiting hours are over, Nico."

"But-but he could die!"

"I'm sorry."

I ran to the strawberry fields, waiting for tommorow to come.

I ran up to see Will in the infirmary. I was about to enter when I bumped into Austin on the way in. He shook his head.

"What?"

"Im sorry Nico but Will didn't make it overnight..." Austin kept talking but I didn't hear him. He ended with, "Like I said. I'm sorry."
