Manny: Cosy Celebrations

You watched anxiously as the page refreshed, each time the number going up. You were so excited. You were quite sad that Manny, your boyfriend of 3 years, couldn't be there to celebrate with you, but he'd be home soon enough. He'd gone out go-karting for his friend, Lewis's birthday so wouldn't be back for another hour or so.
The page refreshed again, this time showing the figure '1,000,000'. You squealed excitedly filming it on your snapchat and writing the caption, 'Manny just hit 1 million subscribers!!!!!'. You were immensely proud of him.

Soon enough everyone was Tweeting Manny of his YouTube achievement and congratulating him. He was probably too busy to even realise.

You thought the best way to celebrate would be a cosy night in with your favourite person. You lit some sweet scented candles, closed the blinds, switched on the fairy lights and set up Netflix. You ordered some pizza which would arrive after Manny got home so everything was perfect.

"Babe?" You heard a voice say from the hallway, followed by some keys being placed on a table and a door closing.
"In here!" You smiled as Manny walked casually into the living room. He looked at all of the lights and candles and raised an eyebrow.
"What's all this for, baby?" He smiled, snaking his arms around your waist. You giggled, he clearly hadn't been on Twitter.
"Congratulations on 1 million subscribers!" You beamed as his jaw dropped.
"Wait, I hit it?! I actually hit a million?!!" He exclaimed rushing to click on the Twitter app on his phone. "Oh my days!"
"I'm so proud of you!" You smiled as he leaned in to kiss you. Manny's kisses were always soft and gentle, the kind you loved.
"I love you, (Y/N)." He said happily.
"I love you too."

You sat on the sofa, setting up a TV series for you both to watch. You decided on Stranger Things since you and Manny had been engrossed in the first 2 episodes. Manny placed the pizza boxes on the coffee table and sat down on the end of the sofa, pulling you into a cosy cuddle.
"I still can't get over it." He whispered gently as the opening credits of the show played. You stroked his hand with your thumb as you held it.
"Everyone's so happy for you. Tobi is extremely proud. So are your parents, sisters and Jed." You smiled quietly. Manny kissed your head as you smuggled into his chest. "As am I."
"I couldn't have done it without you babe. I'm so happy you've been with me the entire way." He beamed from behind you.
"I wouldn't have had it any other way." You mumbled. You reached over for a piece of pizza and shoved it into Manny's face causing you to laugh.
"Oh really?" He snickered as he wiped away the cheese and sauce from his mouth. He placed the napkin on the table and got a small pot of garlic sauce that he opened and splattered on your nose. Both of you began laughing as you dipped a finger in the sauce and ate it.
"Yum." You chuckled as Manny placed his finger on your nose and tasted the sauce.
"For some bogey garlic sauce, it doesn't taste too bad." He jokes as you scowl at him playfully.
"How dare you...I have beautiful bogeys thank you very much!" You joked as Manny laughed loudly.
"That is the weirdest thing anyone has ever said to me." He chuckled.
"Well, you're with me so you should know to expect weird things like that." You smirked as you turned to face Manny.
"Yeah well...it's a good thing I love weird then isn't it?" He whispered holding your chin as he pulled you in for another soft kiss. You cupped his cheek as the kiss deepened until Manny smiled into it causing you to separate.
"What?" You mouthed, the sound of the TV in the background.
"You still have sauce on your nose." He whispered wiping it off with his thumb.
