(I told Tani ...I was gonna write for Kiryu if she didn't. And she didn't...she wrote for Ryoma instead. I guess we husband swapped lol. Anyways!! You should all play Yakuza/ Ryu ga Gotoku I love watching Tani play and I love Kiryu mucho)

You sat gazing out at the waves that lapped silently at the sand on the beach. All the children at the Sunshine Orphanage were finally asleep, and you were finally at peace.

The waves rolled against the beach lazily under the night sky, and you hummed quietly as the night breeze brushed against her skin. It had been another pleasant day in Okinawa, but it had been a long one, and you were finally glad to unwind at the beach in peaceful bliss.

...However, it wasn't long before the gentle sound of footsteps crunching in the sand stirred the calm; you didn't turn to see who was joking her, as it was sort of a tradition for you both to spend beach time together. But you did smell the musky scent of cologne in the breeze, and tears began to sting in your eyes. Your partner settled into the sand beside you, and you forced a smile to your face. "I-it's a beautiful night, isn't it, Kazuma...?" she murmured gently, not wanting to face him.

A soft him was Kazuma Kiryu's response, and a hand settled into your own, a thumb running gently across the ring settled comfortably on your finger. Warmth rose to your cheeks despite the chilling feeling running through you. A quiet had settled in between you two, but someone had to acknowledge the problem.

Finally, it was you that spoke up. "You're leaving to Kamurocho again, Kaz...?"

He sighed, and his hand gently grasped your chin, turning you to face him. "I'm sorry, [Name]..." he mumbled, just loud enough for you to hear. Kiryu was clad in his famous suit, which you knew meant the Tojo Clan and the yakuza had once again come between you and him, and the tears in your eyes finally sprung free. "Why does this always happen, Kazuma?" you whimpered, your throat hoarse. "Why can't they just leave us alone...?"

"I've got...obligations...that need to be fulfilled..."

His voice was comforting despite what was being said, and you leaned over to rest your head on his shoulder. "I'll miss you so much, Kaz...." You traced the familiar dragon tattoo on his back against his material of his suit. "Kazuma... promise me you'll come back to...To me. To Haruka. To all of us." You finally looked him in his brown eyes, your expression serious. "Promise me."

"[Name]-chan..." He nodded, lifting your hand to his lips and kissing the ring placed into your finger. "I promised you I'd be with you forever... I won't be breaking that promise anytime soon."

"....I love you, Kazuma."

He wrapped an arm over your shoulders and stared back at the waves lapping against the beach.

No other words were needed.
