Ali has been on a Disgaea kick (she's playing through Disgaea 4 rn on the Vita) and Valvatorez and Killia are her new husbandos.

"Val."

" -- the promise I have made to you today! I'll have to do my instructor duties first, but today is supposed to be the longest day in Hades, so I'll have time for our promised best day ever --"

"...Val."

" --but I'll need Fenrich's help for some of the events I have planned. I hope that isn't too much of a problem, [Name]... but, hmm, I also promised Emizel that I would train him in swordplay today --"

"...VAL." Your stern voice finally broke through to the smaller vampire, and the former Tyrant class demon finally gazed over to you, swallowing the sardine that was in his hand quickly before responding. "Ah, yes, my dearest [Name]? What seems to be the problem?"

You pinched the bridge of your nose as you both walked casually toward Valvatorez's class of Prinnies for the day; you had agreed to help your lover at work for the day and the vampire had immediately promised you the best reward for aiding him in his menial task. "Val, I already told you; I don't mind it if you're booked today. We can always spend another day together." You smiled at him warmly. "I can just spend some time with Artina and we can go out together tomorrow --"

"No, no, no. That won't do, my dearest [Name]." Valvatorez shook his head vigorously, before addressing you again with the famous dramatic swoop of his cape that you had seen so many times before. 

"You should know better than anyone, my sweetest [Name], that when I make a promise to any living being, I swear to fulfill it by any means necessary!" Valvatorez took your hand quickly, his red eyes boring into your own as he met your exasperated look with a smile. "By all the fires in Hades, I shall bring you the perfect day that you wished to have, even if I must once again tear down the very establishment brick by brick and put it together once more with my own hands!" His voice had rose to a fever pitch to accompany his inevitable speech about promises, and with a quick gaze around you noticed the other demon employees of Hades starting to stare at the spectacle Valvatorez had started. Where is Fenrich when I need him, you groaned internally, and you quickly began to pull him along to shut him up. "W-wait, my precious [Name], I wasn't finished --!"

"Val." You had stopped him in front of the door to the dungeon where he was to teach the newest batch of Prinnies, and you cupped the vampire's cheeks before planting a firm kiss on his lips. Surprised, he sunk his fangs into your lip and you both jumped back in shock... before you let out a small giggle. "Ouch..... You do this every time, Val... you think you'd be used to me kissing you out of the blue."

"My serendipitous [Name], what is the meaning of this?" His face was reddened as he spoke, a pout on his beautiful face. "And in front of my class, too... I was going to explain in great detail what I planned to do with you today --"

"I'm already having a perfect day," you assured him with a sweet smile. "Just being able to spend time with you, Valzy, with your busy schedule " - you poked his cheek - "is amazing. I feel happy... if I can go with you fulfilling some of your other promises today, then I think it'd be even more perfect."

Valvatorez processed your words with wide eyes, before nodding and kissing you deeply. Now it was your turn to be shocked, and you stepped back to cover your red face. "VALZY --" 

"My perfect [Name], it's a promise. I'll take you with me everywhere for the rest of the day if it'll keep you happy and my promise fulfilled." The vampire closed his eyes and nodded happily. 

You gave a sigh of relief. "Now, please, no more speeches for today. I can't take anymore dramatics..."

Bonus:

You opened the door to the dungeon to see a bunch of Prinnies gazing at the door and trembling in anticipation.

"Er... hello...?" you said cautiously...

The Prinnies exploded with chatter. "DOOOOOOOD, YOU'RE LORD VALVATOREZ'S LOVER??"

"YOU'RE SO GOOD LOOKING! WHAT'S YOUR SECRET, DOOD?"

"DOES LORD VALVATOREZ'S BREATH TASTE LIKE SARDINES WHEN YOU KISS HIM, DOOD?!"

"I DON'T THINK I'M READY FOR MINI LORD VALVATOREZES RUNNING AROUND HERE, DOOD!!!"

You sweatdropped, and Valvatorez covered his red face with his cape. "I think these Prinnies are in for a very harsh lesson today, my dear [Name]..." he scowled.

"...Agreed."
