You're going for a run with your girlfriend, Demi...

"You want to go out now?"
"Yes," you respond, making her groan.
"It's raining."
"But it's so much fun to run in the rain," you respond before laughing. "That rhymed."
"It did, but I still don't really want to run in the rain," she responds, putting a hand on her hip.
"It'll be great, come on," you tell her, grabbing her hand and pulling her out the door. She stops before you get out into the rain, and you're jerked back.
"We need mental preparation," she says, eyeing the sky. The rain is pouring down, but you laugh.
"It'll be great," you repeat, locking the door and hiding the key under the plant—your usual spot for the key.
"Will it, now?" she snorts, and you roll your eyes playfully.
"Just imagine. We're going to go for this run, come back, take a nice warm shower, do some yoga, have a little something to eat, then maybe sit down and watch a movie?"
"Okay, okay, I'm sold. Let's go," she laughs, grabbing your hand and pulling you out into the rain. You both shriek at the sudden coldness but immediately start laughing right after. You're drenched instantly, but you don't really mind.
"This way or this way?" you ask, pointing to the left then right.
"How about this way?" she replies, nodding to the left and jogging onto the sidewalk.
"Just don't slip," you laugh as you fall into place beside her.
"Same to you," she responds, shaking her head to get the water off her face.
"We shouldn't—"
"We definitely shouldn't go far," she interrupts, and you chuckle.
You continue running for a while, and Demi keeps glancing to you.
"What?" you finally ask.
"Your bra is distracting me," she huffs, grinning at you.
"Your bra is showing, too, shut up," you retort, whacking her shoulder lightly with the back of your hand.
"Mine isn't neon pink," she replies, raising an eyebrow at you.
"You have a point, there," you laugh, turning the corner. Due to the rain, practically nobody is out, and you love the feeling of being alone with Demi.
"This is nice," she says, as if she read your thoughts.
"I told you it would be fun," you reply, giving her a grin.
"The being drenched part isn't too fantastic, though. At least it's nice and cool."
"That's why it's so great—running in the rain, I mean," you chuckle. "Eventually you won't give a shit about being drenched, and it'll feel great."
"We'll see," she laughs.
After a while, you circle back home. Running up the path to your house, you quickly unlock the door and step inside together.
"You were right. I don't give a shit about being drenched, but I do give a shit about drenching the floors," she comments wryly as she drips water onto the door mat.
"Yeah, we should take a shower."
"We just did," she responds, smirking at you.
"Another one, then."
