finally a happy one bc it's the 100th chapter!!! wooooooo

You're at work...

"Hey y/n, there's a little something that arrived for you," your coworker, Lacy says, poking her head into your cubicle.
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Oh it's pretty amazing. I wish I had a girlfriend like yours," she says with a grin.
"Oh?" you respond, raising an eyebrow.
"Come on, come on," she says. "It's right outside."
You stand up and follow her outside your cubicle. Your eyes widen, and you gasp.
"That is a lot of roses."
A huge bouquet of roses is sitting right outside your cubicle, and you pick it up. It's quite heavy, and you notice a card tucked under the red ribbon. You open it up, and written in Demi's cursive is:

To my gorgeous princess,

Happy Anniversary! I love you so much, and I hope you like these hundred roses.

Love,
Your Demi

"She literally got me one hundred roses," you laugh, and Lacy makes a face.
"God, she's the best. You're so lucky."
"I know. I really am," you say happily.
The day passes in a blur, and you can't wait to get home to Demi. The second you walk through the door, she crashes into your arms.
"Demi!" you shriek, the roses falling to the floor.
"I missed you!" she says, ignoring the fact that you'd seen each other this morning.
"I missed you, too," you laugh. "Thanks for the roses," you say, and she pulls away to look at you.
"Sorry they were a bit much," she says sheepishly, and you kiss her nose.
"They are lovely," you assure her, and she grins.
"Come on, I've got some more things for you because I'm so extra," she says, pulling you into the kitchen. Your eyes widen when you see the huge box on the table, and she opens it up to reveal row after row of gorgeous chocolates.
"Let me guess, a hundred?"
"One-fucking-hundred," she confirms, her eyes sparkling brightly.
"Wow. That's pretty fucking extra," you comment wryly, and she rolls her eyes.
"Oh like you weren't extra for my gift?" she asks, gesturing toward the living room where the humongous stuffed bear you'd given her is waiting.
"Oh please, that was bear-ly extra," you respond, and she groans.
"My god, that was a horrible pun."
"You can bear-ly handle my puns."
"Shut up. I'm getting secondhand embarrassment," she laughs, moving over to you and pressing her lips to yours—probably to stop you from making more bad jokes.
"My jokes are fabulous, thank you," you mumble against her, moving your hands to her hips. She smiles against you and moves her hands to your face.
"You keep telling yourself that," she replies, giggling lightly.
"You still love me," you tell her, laughing as you press your forehead to hers.
"I do."
"And I love you."
