Another weird oldish western-ish one lmaooo
You have been best friends for years...
"Do you think it is odd that we have known each other for—what is it? more than twenty years?" she sighs contentedly as she continues braiding a flower crown. You are sitting in the meadow together, half-watching the sheep as they graze.
"I do not know about odd, but I certainly think it is amazing," you chuckle, taking another flower and braiding it into your crown.
"How old are you now, darling?"
"Why Demetria, you should know!" you say, feigning shock.
"Oh come now, I cannot remember everything about you."
"Take a guess."
"I am twenty-four, and we have about a year difference between us, yes? You must be twenty-three," she finally says, and you nod.
"Took you a while," you tease, and she laughs lightly.
"Now now, you cannot expect me to remember your age off the top of my head. Especially when I am working on making this," she tells you, raising her half-finished flower crown.
"Hmm," you respond, and she leans into your shoulder.
"Do not be mad at me, darling," she laughs.
"I am not mad, Demetria," you reply with a grin. "I find your forgetfulness to be endearing."
"I am not forgetful! You take that back!" she gasps in mock-shock.
"Oh please, you forgot to close the gate that one time, remember? All the sheep got out? You also forgot to pick me up from class several times. I think—"
"Alright alright. I suppose I am slightly forgetful," she laughs.
"Slightly?"
"Rather forgetful," she responds, and you laugh.
You continue talking about everything and nothing, and after a while, you both finish your flower crowns.
"Here here," you say as you turn to her. Her black hair falls in waves around her shoulders, and she brushes it behind her ear as you place the flower crown on her head. "You look beautiful."
Her cheeks turn a rosy pink, and she laughs. "Oh do not embarrass me," she says as she places the flower crown that she had made onto your head. "You look lovely."
You look into her eyes, and you hold her gaze for a moment too long. Before you know what is happening, your lips are on hers, and her hand is tangled in your hair.
You move closer, your hands on her hips and her hands in your hair. Your flower crown nearly falls off from her passion, but that is the least of your worries at this point.
"I have always loved you," she breathes against your lips, and you feel your cheeks flush.
"I have always loved you as well," you reply, feeling absolutely ecstatic.
She pulls away and presses her forehead to yours.
"What now?" she asks softly.
You let your lips brush hers as you respond, "I do not know about you, but I would like to kiss you again."
So you do.A/N
