Three day from then~
You sat on top of the hilltop near the meadow where we met. It was your hiding spot, the two of you. That day you met him, your best friend, the one you love.
This is where you was you d each day for his return, the same hilltop he promised he'd be waiting for you when he got back. You sit up again the old oak tree, hands wrapped securely around your knees.
You lean your head your head against the bark and close your eyes. A sigh escapes your lips, it's been three days, three days since you found out.
You opened your eyes and gasp in surprise. "I-it's still t-there?" You chock out. Tears treatments to fall but you held them back. You had to be strong...for him...just like he would want.
You run your hand against the carving marking your place; this place. 'There now everyone will know this place is our _____!" A child's voice, exclaimed.
Tears were cascading down your cheeks now. "Damn you." You screamed, slamming your fists against the carving. 'Really?' Another voice asks eagerly. 'Yup, and nobody's allowed in." The first voice replied.
"Shut up!" You cried, clutching your head and closing your eyes. 'I don't want to remember...' You opened your eyes, and the voices of the children left. Suddenly a faint image of two children lying in the grass appeared.
"Hey Roderick?" The girl asks. Your eyes widen at the scene before you. "Stop...it..." you whispered. "Yes _____?" Asked the boy. "Will we be best friends forever?" She pondered. "Stop it." You say a bit louder. "Yea, forever and ever." He assured. "Promise?" She asked.
"Stop...stop it please..." you ask, almost begging. 'I don't want to remember!' you screamed in your head. "Pinky promise." He said holding out a transparent pinky.
The girl locked her pinky with his and smiled. "Pinky promise." "STOP IT GOTDAMNIT!!!!" You screamed, dropping to the ground sobbing.
You looked back up at the tree where a hand-carved 'R + (your first initial)' was. You closed your eyes. "Please...stop..." you whispered, and layed there, silently crying under 'your' tree.
