Falling...into the Dark.

I woke up to my phone ringing. It was Jake.
"Hey" I said sleepily.
"Wake up sleepy head...I'm coming in 15 minutes"
"Why? It's still time for school"
"We'll have breakfast together then school"
"But 15 minutes is too less to get ready" I whined. My eyes were not even open properly.
"I so love your voice right now and would love to hear it for the entire day...But we are getting late so your 15 minutes starts now"
And with that he cut the call.
All of a sudden every cell of my body were energised. I quickly took out whatever clothes I got hold of and went to the bathroom.
I took my life's shortest shower and quickly got out in a towel. As I got out I collided with someone's back. I completely freaked out but then I saw it was Jake as he turned around looking equally surprised.
"Oh I'm sorry...Mrs Mayor said that you were here so I came to check" he said taking a step back.
"Umm..it's okay"
I didn't know what to say. It was kinda weird standing here in only a towel in front of him.
We stood silent for a while..his eyes never leaving mine. There was huge tension between us. A lot of things were going inside of my head and I know it was pretty mutual.
Jake took a step towards me and surprisingly I didn't move back...maybe I wanted it too. Of course I did. He came closer and leaned down until I could feel his breath on my bare shoulders.
"Get changed..am waiting downstairs" he whispered into my ears. He walked out of my room and closed the door behind him as I stood there in amazement with what just happened...or maybe what did not.

I got down to see my mom in full fledged conversation with Jake. It's quite evident that she likes him.
"I just invited Jake for dinner tonight" my mom said as she saw me.
"Yeah and this time I'll get something good to eat and not some just weird pasta" Jake winked.
"Hey that's rude" I said hitting his arm.
He just laughed and my mother joined him.
Well I guess tonight I might tell her about us.

"You look pretty" Jake said as he parked near my favorite cafe.
"Now or earlier in my room?" I smirked.
"How about always?" He said kissing my forehead.
That made me blush. It's so weird I mean just few minutes ago he saw me almost half naked and I was so cool and now he just pays a compliment and am red.
"You don't need to be so flattering you know?"
"I don't do the flattering thing baby doll...I only say the truth"

We sat in that same place as the first time we both were here together.
Maria saw Jake and instantly left the previous customer and walked towards us but then she saw his hand on mine and immediately a frown was visible on her forehead.
Oh God don't know how much of this will I have to deal with.
"Hey what would you two like to have?" She asked with a forceful smile. Well at least I wasn't ignored like the other day.
"I would like a cheese sandwich and a chocolate cupcake...what about you Jake?"
"A cheese sandwich and a cappuccino will do" he said.
"Am thinking of breaking the news on mom tonight" I said.
"What news?"
"About us" I rolled my eyes.
"I think she has already got a clue or else she wouldn't have asked me to go up to your room"
"She asked you to come to my room?"
"So you think I'll barge into your room just like that?"
"Not even in your girlfriend's room?"
"Nope babydoll"
I was so in awe of him. How come he says such perfect things?

Well breakfast was great....I mean everything with Jake is great. I got to know another thing about him that how much he loves cappuccino and how it's a must for him for breakfast and that he is a sweet tooth.

We reached college just in time. I saw my best friends waiting for me by the lockers. They started giggling as they saw us walk down the hall with people staring at us.
"I'll meet you in the class" Jake whispered and left.
"Okay so I win the bet" Mel said looking at Case as I joined them.
"What bet?" I asked.
"I told Case that you would be arriving with Jake but she said otherwise" Mel said with pride.
"Yeah that's because I thought maybe you aren't yet ready to go all public" Case said.
"I know Case..I initially thought about it but you know he is really a nice person..He loves me and I know that" I said.
"Oh I know Ally...am just so happy for you" Case hugged me.
"Now let's get to the class" Mel said.
