Falling...into the Dark.

Woke up before my alarm went off. It was 8. Jake will come at 10. I had a lot of time. I sat down to think about us. The way he behaved yesterday was quite weird. He got so angry about such a small thing...it was more than being protective. Does that mean he considers me more than just a friend? I just let go of any thoughts that might give me false hopes. I went to take shower. If I start thinking about all these things it'll take my entire day. I changed into blue top and black jeans and a black jacket. It was quite windy. I left my hair open as it was still wet. I saw Jake's car from the window. I went down..said goodbye to mom and got out. He was on the phone but when he saw he put it back.
"I was calling you " he said opening the car door.
"I saw you"
"Hey nice locket" he said getting in.
"Yeah mom gave..I hope I don't drop this even anywhere"
"You won't lose anything when I am around" he smiled.
Really? Then why does it feel that I am going to lose my heart?
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"First we will go and select furniture and while it gets delivered we can shop for other stuffs"
"Cool"

We stopped at the furniture shop and we walked in. There were many furniture on display and they all were beautiful. "Thought of a color?" I asked turning to Jake.
"Nope"
"I like the grey one..it will look good"
"Then grey it is"
"Oh no you choose"
"I choose you baby doll...I mean whatever you choose" he chuckled.
"Okay then this is it"
He paid for the furniture. They said it would take a little time for the furniture to get delivered. It was fine as we needed to buy other things too. Then we walked into another shop as all of them were nearby plus with so many people around taking the car was impossible.
"Which one Jake?" I asked showing him two huge portraits.
"Which one you like?" He asked.
"I like both..equally"
"Then take both"
"Oh no they are quite expensive..if you take two then it might cross your budget"
"I don't have a budget baby doll relax" he said taking both the portraits and placing it in the cart.
Then we bought bedsheets, curtains and pillow covers. I also caught hold of a vase for his living room. Finally we went to buy crockery.
"Lets take these black plates..it will match the interiors plus as you are staying alone dark utensils will be favourable..."
He just looked at me quietly.
"What?"
"Why are you giving me explanations baby doll?"
"Am just saying.."
"Don't..just keep it"
Finally it was done. We put all the things inside the car and got inside.
"Now a very important work" Jake said starting the car.
"What?"
"Lunch...aren't you hungry?"
"Oh yeah I forgot about that"

We stopped in front of a fancy restaurant. "Table for two" he said to the receptionist. She blushed as if he has asked her for a date. I rolled my eyes.
We sat comfortably near the glass window.
"How can I help you?" A waitress asked Jake. I was being ignored completely.
"Baby doll?" Jake looked at me.
The waitress' eyes shifted to me bitterly. Oh I am so sorry...am I out with your boyfriend?
"I'll have cheese pasta" I said smiling at her sarcastically.
"Okay cheese pasta for me to" Jake said not moving his eyes from me.
"Anything else?" She asked trying to catch his attention.
"No" his eyes were still fixed on me.
The waitress went away disappointed.
A while later another waitress came with our lunch. She looked at Jake and her eyes widened. Of course the waitress number 1 has told the waitress number 2 about him and now she is here to have a look...of course she looked satisfied..more than satisfied.
"Do tell me if you need anything" she said seductively to Jake of course. She behaved as if I didn't exist at all. He just shook his head.
We were having our lunch peacefully when a group of girls sat to our next table. Their eyes fell on Jake and it was like they are hyperventilating. Oh God not again.
"You are Jake Brian if am not wrong? Son of Daniel Brian?" One of the girls asked.
"Yeah am afraid I am.." he smiled.
Oh my God he is Daniel Brian's son? That famous businessman...how come you didn't know Alice? I mean look at their surnames...how come it didn't strike..wow and you were talking about budget with him..just wow.
"We have seen you in so many magazines..but you look so much more handsome live" the other girl shrieked.
I tried to keep my calm. I don't read fashion magazines so obviously I had no idea about his popularity.
"Can we click pictures with you?" They asked. Jake looked at me. I smiled. Then he got up. They all clicked pictures with him..they couldn't stop giggling. Now I know why he was getting so much of attention..Damn he is famous.
