School was fine except that I didn't see Jake as there was no biology class today. I hope he comes tomorrow.
I came home quite late as I had to buy some books. I booked a table for five in the restaurant and then immediately sat down to study. I didn't want to sulk on my birthday over a a bad test. My phone buzzed.
Case- Ally don't get your car tomorrow to school...we will come back together to your place in my car..
Me- umm okay but why?
Case- cause we need to make sure you look like a birthday girl
Me- so generous of you two -.-
Case- haha deal with it
Me- don't forget to get your outfits and all then..we'll leave from here only...tell Mel too.
Case- yes I will.

I continued with my studies. My phone buzzed again after some time. Oh God will my phone get some rest..I checked my phone..it was Jake..okay I take my words back.
Jake Brian- you came to school today?
Me- yes why?
Jake Brian- I didn't see you...I saw your friends by the lockers..I stayed there expecting to see you but you didn't turn up
Me- oh yeah I was late..
Jake Brian- oh okay..so what's the plan tomorrow?
Me- yeah STK downtown and rooftop at 7?
Jake Brian- sure

He himself asked about tomorrow's plan..maybe he do intends to come..let's see my fingers are crossed.
I continued to study for a little while then I took a nap. I woke up and went down to cook dinner. It reminded me of yesterday and how close Jake was when he whispered into my ears...is it true that my eyes are readable? I don't know..he said so.
I was eating the noodles that I had made when my phone rang..I saw the time it was 11:58..must be mom.
I plugged the phone out of charge and looked into the screen. It was Jake's..okay wow.
"Hey Jake" I said trying not to sound mushy.
"Hey baby doll still studying?"
"No was eating..I cooked again"
"Oh your home is fine right?"
"Yes of course" I rolled my eyes.
"Okay now don't roll your eyes" he chuckled.
"I wasn't" I lied. God what is he?
"Okay now 10...9...8...7....6.."
I heard him make the countdown and I don't know why I was feeling nervous.
"Happy birthday baby doll" he said.
"Thank you"
"So I think I wished you first?"
I could literally see his smirk.
"Yeah you did" I smiled.
"Okay so I should let others wish you too" he said.
After saying our byes I kept the call. I saw mom's missed call. I called her back.
"Happy Birthday honey" mom wished.
"Thank you mom..I miss you"
"I miss you more darling...now go to my room"
"Umm why?"
"Come on Alice go fast"
I went down and then entered her room.
"There" I said.
"Open my wardrobe and pull the right drawer"
I did as I was told. I saw a wrapped box inside.
"Oh my God mom..it's my gift?" I squealed.
"Yes open it"
I opened it and there was a beautiful red dress with black work on it. It was very pretty I loved it.
"Mom it's so pretty..thank you so much"
"You like it?"
"I love it mom"
We talked for a while where I told her about my plans today. She was quite happy to hear that I had invited Jake too. She wished me luck for my test and then kept the call.
My phone immediately rang again. I knew it's my best friends.
"Hey Case and Mel" they were on conference.
"Happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you.." they started to sing. They do this every year but it never fails to bring a smile on my face.
"Thank you so much"
"We were trying from a long time..your line was busy" Mel said.
"Yes I was talking to mom"
"Okay let's keep the call and let this birthday girl get some beauty sleep" Case said.

I went to my room. I lied on my bed and my phone rang again. It was Max.
"Hey Max"
"Happy birthday Alice"
"Thank you"
"You're still up?"
"Yeah wishes and all'
"Okay sleep now it's quite late"
"Yes sir" I giggled.
He laughed and then kept the phone.

Morning

I got few wishes from my school friends too. In the biology class Jake whispered 'happy birthday again baby doll' into my ears and walked out leaving me frozen. My history test went well. I couldn't ask Jake about his test as it was in the last period...I'll ask him tonight..if he comes that is.
