Alice.

I woke up in the arms of the most gorgeous man. My man. He was sleeping soundly with his arms around me. I felt sore from all the making love last night. I smiled thinking of how he was so gentle and how he kept asking  if he was hurting me. I tried to move but damn his grip. I looked at the bedside clock. Shit it was quarter past nine. I need to reach home by ten. Mom will leave for work at ten and I don't even have the keys.

"Jake wake up" I called out.
"Yes baby doll" he said in his sexy sleepy voice.
"Wake up Jake" I whispered.
He got up kissed me and then went back to sleep.
"Jaaakkkeeee" I screamed.
"What is the matter with you?" He got up and sat. Finally he was all awake.
"I need to reach home by ten. Mom will leave at ten and I don't have the keys"
"Good. Stay here with me" he said lying on my lap.
"But we need to go to the party"
"No. Stay with me" he kissed my lap.
"But you said you'll think of it" I said ignoring my goosebumps.
"Yes..well this is what I thought"
"Jakkee" I cried.
"Okay okay we'll go" he got up.
"Drop me home then"
"Yeah"
He went to shower but not before he helped me dress up although I didn't need it. He is always a sweetheart.

"Let's grab some breakfast first" he said as he locked his apartment.
"No it'll be late. I'll eat at home"
"Okay then"
"What about you?"
"Not hungry"
"Why?"
"Cause my breakfast just ditched me" he chuckled.
"Yeah I'm your meals. Not creepy at all"
"Its just that I have a good taste" he smirked.
The elevator was empty so we just kissed through down the seven floors. I can never get enough of him.

"Will pick you up at 5?" He asked as we stopped outside my house.
"Yes sure"
I kissed him goodbye and got in. I was happy to be in time as mom was just leaving for work. I kissed her goodbye too.

I was all ready by five. Jake would be here any moment. I was wearing the same black dress that Jake had gifted me on my birthday. A lot has changed since then. I never thought Jake and I would turn out to be something like this. Never thought of it even in my wildest dream. Also never thought that Mel and Case wouldn't be there with me one day.
Okay Alice no loathing again.

I could hear the noise of Jake's car outside so I grabbed a black clutch and made my way out. I couldn't stop smiling when I saw him. He was wearing the same black blazer that I gifted him yesterday. He looked so much better than I thought he would.
Same color? Yes.
Same feelings?
Yes yes yes.

He kept staring at me as I walked up to him.
"You look out of the world baby doll" he said wrapping his arms around me.
"Yeah this dress makes me look good"
"No you make this dress look good"
He again carried me into his arms to the car door.
"If you keep doing this I'll get used to it"
"I want you to get used to it. I would love to carry you everywhere"
"For that you have to be with me all the time"
"Why won't I? I'm not going anywhere baby doll"
He pulled the door open and I got in.
"I missed you the entire afternoon" I said.
"Me too. What say we just ditch this party and go somewhere else?"
"Nice try but no"
"Okay. But I am going to have all of you for me tomorrow, the next day and the next and the next...".
"Okay okay got it" I said putting my fingers on his lip.
He kissed it gently and then started the engine.

We reached the party on time. The house was exploding with music. We entered hand in hand and hence all the eyes were on us.
Still not used to it.

All of the faces were known to me. These were the people I grew up with. My eyes fell on Mel and Case. They were laughing about something. It was pretty clear they were enjoying the party. Mel was holding a guy's hand. He was not from our school so I didn't recognise him. Was she dating him?
