*Danielle's POV*

Today is Saturday and not going to lie, I've had a good week. Yes, time flies. I've been at the school for 4 days and I already have super sweet friends, some acquaintances, and nice teachers.

School's been good. In math, we're learning factoring, which is something I did last year. So I'm ahead of the game. I'm also not really struggling with any of my studies, which is my aunt's dream come true.

I've gotten much closer to Phoebe, Sophia, Elliot, Caleb, Skate, Johnson, and Jack. Especially Jack. We have been doing our morning runs together, which are very therapeutic. I never enjoyed running with people, I always preferred alone. But I enjoy running with him. He has an interesting personality.

For a while, I forgot about Billy. The only way I have to think about him is when I'm naked and see my scar. It's healing, slowly but surely.

This morning, I did my daily routine. Dress, run, shower, dress. By the time I was done with all of that, Phoebe and Sophia were just waking up.

"What's up with you and you're abnormal sleep schedule," Phoebe rubbed her sleepy eyes as Sophia turned on a light and opened the blinds.

"For real Danielle, I don't know how, or quite frankly why, you do this to yourself.

"I'm an early riser," I giggled and they both shook their heads.

"Yeah, you really are. What time is it, anyway?" Sophia stretched her arms out in front of her, letting out a long yawn.

"9 o'clock," I said as I began to apply a little makeup. Even though it's Saturday, I don't want to look like a slob. After all, it's not like at home where I'm by myself for the day.

"Really! Shit!" Sophia jumped out of bed at lightning speed and ran over to her dresser.

"What's wrong?" I asked her, eyebrows furrowed.

"My mom's picking me up for the weekend. It's my little brother's birthday and he's having a party that my mom just insists that I go to. I'd rather stay here," Sophia pouted and started to get dressed.

"Sounds fun!" I said, maybe a bit too excited. It's just, I've kind of always wanted a little brother. I've always been lonely as a kid. That's why I was so flattered to have Billy come into my life.

"Yeah, totally fun!" Sophia rolled her eyes.

"What about you, Phoeb? Is Lucas coming to pick you up?" Sophia looked over at Phoebe who was asleep again.

"Phoebe!" Sophia picked up a pillow and threw it at her.

"I'm up, relax," She opened her eyes again and groaned. "What was the question?"

"Is Lucas coming to pick you up?" Sophia repeated.

Lucas is Phoebe's boyfriend who doesn't go to our boarding school. He lives about an hour away, a bit closer to Aunt Belle's house. He seems really nice from what I have heard of him.

"Yeah, he is. He's coming at 10," Phoebe looked up.

"You're both leaving me," I made a fake sad face.

"Oh, shoot, I'm so sorry Danielle. Want to come with us? I'm sure Lucas wouldn't mind,"

"No, it's fine! Go have fun with Lucas, don't worry about me!" I laughed and told her. I don't want her to have to stay here on her weekend to herself to babysit me.

"No, no. I'll call him and tell him not this weekend. You just got here, I'm not leaving," Phoebe picked up her phone, which was plugged in by mine. I grabbed her hand and smiled at her.
