*Danielle's POV*
"What about you Danielle?"
"A equals 4?" I blurted out. I wasn't listening at all. I was thinking about the Pythagorean Theorem.
Yes, yes. You heard right. I'm thinking about math. Not my fault, my math teacher practically drilled it in my brain.
"What?" Jack grinned and everyone chuckled silently.
"Sorry, math on the brain." I laughed shortly and looked down embarrassed.
"So what would you do?" Johnson asked me again.
"For what?" I questioned. Man, I should start listening more often.
"What will you be doing during a zombie apocalypse?" He said again and I laughed. We're playing 20 questions together and not going to lie, it's pretty fun. Jack and Jack are fun to hang out with. We're in the cafeteria eating dinner and just chilling. It's only 6 so.
"Doing what I always do." I crisscrossed my legs.
"And that is?" Jack asked me with a funny look on his face.
"Hiding in my room with lots of food and Twitter ." I shrugged.
Johnson laughed and I nodded my head proudly.
"White girl." He laughed.
"Well, you know...I am a caucasian female," I nudged him laughing.
"This is getting boring. Let's go do something spontaneous and fun." Jack said and stared at me with a smile.
"I know something we can do." Johnson was looking at his phone. "Mason just invited us to go to the mall. I mean, it's not spontaneous and fun, but we live in Nebraska. How fun can we get?" Johnson texted something.
"Who's Mason?" I questioned.
"Mason is our asshole friend." Jack rolled his eyes.
"I thought that was Skate," I smirked and they both laughed.
"True." Johnson pointed at me.
"I told him we'd be bringing you, Danielle. He shouldn't mind." He told me and Jack sat up.
"I don't like Mason." Jack frowned.
"Deal with it." Johnson looked at Jack like a mom warning a kid not to go in the cookie jar.
"You up for it, Danielle?" Johnson looked at me.
"Yeah, I'm in. I've only been to one mall in Nebraska. I'm always up for new things." I smiled remembering the trip to the mall with my aunt.
I really miss Aunt Belle. I haven't seen her in about a month. We call each other every night. She says it's not safe to come home yet to visit.
"Aight, so, sounds like a plan?" Johnson thumbed up.
"Ughhhhhh." Jack groaned. "If that dickhead tries to start anything, I swear I will-" Jack started.
"Yes, we know you will. We know what you're capable of" Johnson told him and Jack just shrugged with a guilty look on his face.
"Just be nice, okay?" Johnson pleaded, "Wow, I sound like my mom," He rolled his eyes.
"You are a mom. Because you're making me go somewhere I don't want to go! That's exactly what moms do!" Jack leaned his head back and groaned.
"Suck it up. Be a dad. Go with what the mom says." Johnson smirked at his joke. "Moms are great." He put his feet on the chair next to him.
He had on his thinking face and then spoke.
