*Danielle's POV*
"Hey Dani, come on in." He was smiling wide. He was obviously excited about something.
"Hey Jack, what's up?" I walked in and looked around. It was much more cleaner than it was when I was last in here. I noticed that Johnson and Skate weren't here.
"Where's Johnson and Skate?" I asked him and he flipped his hair in that way that drives every girl crazy.
"They're in the cafeteria. Hungry bastards are probably eating everything down there." He laughed.
"Sounds just like me." I giggled and he looked at my eyes, smiling.
"You? You're too tiny."
"What! A tiny girl can't eat?" I swat his chest, offhandedly.
"Well, I mean I've seen you eat pickles so...." He laughed and I shook my head, smiling.
"So on the contrast...." he hand gestured. "Why exactly were you running down the hallway naked?"
"Well, I was attacked by a mob of goldfish and they ate my clothes." I fake-frowned and his eyes opened wide.
"Really?" He looked fascinated in my made up story.
"No, not really!" I opened my mouth and started to laugh.
"Okay, but how cool would that be to be attacked by a mob of goldfish?" He really was thinking hard about that.
"No, Jack! Not cool at all!" I sat down on his spinney chair and spun around it.
"For your birthday, I'm going to buy you a giant goldfish and cut it open and put your clothes in there so then a giant goldfish ate all your clothes, explaining why you're naked." He pointed his finger at me and smirked.
"How will you get my clothes?"I lifted my eyebrow up.
"I'm Jack Gilinsky, I'll find a way." He winked and I laugh gasped. "I'm kidding!" He laughed and sat on the bed across from the chair.
We were both quiet for a couple seconds. He was thinking long and hard about something, I could tell.
"You had something to show me." I started to feel a little nervous.
He snapped out of his trance and showed a little smile.
"I do." He stared at me and smiled a real smile.
I started to fiddle with my necklace. He just kept staring at me. I mean, who isn't nervous when someone keeps staring at them?
"You keep staring at me." I pointed out the obvious and let out a short, fake laugh. I was starting to get super nervous. Why does he keep staring at me?
"You're different, you know that?" He moved closer to me on the spinney chair he was sitting on, and I froze.
"Yeah, I know that. You just seem to be the only person that likes that about me." I didn't look at him. His eyes would burn a hole in me.
He studied me closely. I could tell from the sides of my eyes.
"What?" I let out a short, nervous laugh.
"Nothing." He laughed nervously and looked down.
"Tell me," I told him and looked at him.
"How about I show you." His voice was raspy. I froze in my tracks. Show me what?
You know that feeling when you're chilling in class and your teacher calls on you to stand up in front of the class and present something? That's what this feeling is.
