*-*-Miles' Point of view*-*-

"See, Jeffrey? This is exactly what I was just saying." Jack said, crossing his arms with a frown on his face.

"Shut up clown." Was all Jeff said in reply.

Miles was pretty angry at them both, not because they were just plain bad in his eyes, but that they made (Y/n) run off crying.

That was more than enough to tick him off.

Miles growled at them, causing them both to look at him with wide eyes.

Miles gave Jeff a look that said: "You better apologize."

Jeff sighed, meaning he understood.

He turned and walked out of the room.

"Wow, you're really good when it comes to talking through your face." Jack said blankly.

Miles ruffed in response.

"You know, Miles, I look at you and I sometimes wonder what you would look like if you looked like me." Jack added, crossing his arms once more and looking down at Miles more intensely.

Miles raised a brow.

Having to deal with this clown being with (Y/n) was a big enough deal, but looking like him? That would be something completely different.

"In fact... I think I might just have to try it!" Jack cackled.

Only one word went through Miles' head at that moment.

Nope.

He dashed out of the room and into the kitchen, to hide from Jack and wait for (Y/n)'s return.

*-*-(Y/n)'s Point of view*-*-

You ran with tears streaming down your face, you could hear Jeff running after you, but you didn't stop.

After a few minutes, you opened the door to yet another room and hid inside, quickly re-closing it and locking it.

You leaned against the door as you slid down to the floor, trying to dry your tears.

"(Y/n)! Where are you?" You heard Jeff call from the hallway.

"Sister, I know you're upset, and you have every reason to be, but just let me explain this and it won't be as bad as it seems."

You tried to steady your breathing, but it was no use, you just couldn't stop crying.

You heard a knock on the door you were leaning against.

"I can hear you crying in there." Jeff's voice said.

"Dang it." You thought, but you didn't get up.

"Please open the door."

"Why should I..!?" You half sobbed half shouted.

You heard Jeff sigh.

"Sister...please.." You could hear Jeff's voice from behind the door was closer to you, he must have been on the floor too.

You could tell he wasn't going to give up any time soon, so you decided to just give in.

You reached up to unlock the door nob, once it was unlocked, you crawled away from the door and sat against the wall to your right.

You watched as the door steadily creaked open, and Jeff slowly walked into the room.
