Upon reaching the green door Jason told you of as your heart continued to race, you glanced up at Jack for reassurance, seeing him smiling down at you.

"It'll be just fine, Gumdrop. Try to relax a little." He giggled, patting your back.

"Easy for you to say." You thought, thinking back to the bracelet that had yet to be completed. You could only hope that at the very least he'd think it was cute.

You looked away and took a deep breath, trying to mentally prepare yourself for what was to come, then you grasped the doorknob and turned it, pushing the door open.

As soon as the room was in full view you spotted everyone you'd come to know.

Jeff wasn't keeping his distance like he did before, he actually seemed to be having a conversation with Frankie, meanwhile Will was messing around with Mr. Bunny like before, playing what looked like patty cake. To your astonishment, Smile was with them, too! It was lying on the floor, silently observing the game while most likely listening to the other two talk at the same time, not to mention Miles was sitting beside it, staring at its face. It was impressive how unafraid Mr. Bunny seemed to be of Smile, considering how anxious he was around Jack in the past.

"Greetings, pals!" Jack suddenly shouted, cackling to himself when everyone in the room except Smile jumped.

Jeff and Frankie rolled their eyes while Will laughed as well, and even Mr. Bunny seemed a little amused as he waved at you.

"Hewwo!" He giggled, and you waved back with a smile.

You walked into the room, and, as expected, Jeff was the first to stand up.

"Hey, Sis." He said as he wrapped his arms around you. You tried to hold back the excited smile that wanted to form on your face at the thought of the surprise that was soon to come.

"Getting along with everyone?" You quietly snickered, letting yourself get lost in the comfort of his embrace for a moment.

"Well enough. Got to know these two better. They're not as bad as I thought they were." He replied, and soon after he let you go.

"Sounds like they're acquaintances now, at least..." You thought, resisting the urge to sigh out of relief.

You looked over to see Jack was now talking with Will and Frankie, and Mr. Bunny had leaped down to Miles, already playing with his face by gently patting the sides and booping his nose a few times. The sight warmed your heart and made your smile turn into a wide grin for a bit.

"You did this, y'know." Jeff wrapped his arm around your shoulders and pulled you down to sit next to him on a soft, plush-like bench, casually pointing out everyone.

You decided to let that relieved sigh escape after all, and leaned against Jeff's side. He rested his chin on your head in response, letting out a sigh of his own before he spoke again.

"Do you think we'll ever have some time to ourselves? Just you and I? Brother and sister?" He whispered, letting his free hand play with a few loose strands of your hair.

You thought it over, and you realized there never really had been any time for just you and Jeff. There was always the matter of everybody else, plus with your parents around it was that much more difficult to do so much as simply take a breather alongside him. Jack had the luxury of magic, but Jeff had to hide and be patient. Your heart sank, and you felt guilty knowing that you were powerless to change anything as of now.

You felt his hand gently rubbing your shoulder with his thumb.

"Your silence speaks volumes." He mumbled softly.
