Your mind felt as if it were filled with a thick fog, you couldn't form any sort of thought, nor could you form words or otherwise, it was like your mind was trapped in some kind of blank void, one that couldn't be escaped.
You couldn't feel anything around you, like you were trapped in one place in the air. You couldn't move either, and no matter how hard you tried your eyes wouldn't crack the slightest bit open, nor could you even flinch or twitch a single muscle.
It wasn't until what felt like an eternity later when you finally felt your mind begin to recover itself, and all of your senses finally returned.
You were still lying down sideways like you were when you went to sleep, but whatever it was you were laying on wasn't your bed, and you no longer felt Smile Dog's furry body in your arms. Your eyelids slowly opened as you began to feel your consciousness return, and the first thing you noticed was how cold the thing you were laying on was, and it was pretty flat too.
Your body felt pretty stiff as you tried to move, but eventually your muscles loosened up. You pushed yourself up and looked at what you had been laying on.
For some reason, you had been asleep on a silver, worn-out looking metal bench, and when you looked around you saw that you were on some kind of aged looking carousel.
"Wait... is this..?"
You looked around to see nothing but greys, blacks, and whites all around. As you had begun to suspect, you were in a carnival.
And there was only one person who owned a carnival like this that you knew.
"Did that candy bring me here somehow?" You thought in disbelief.
You sat up from the carousel bench and stood up from it, carefully stepping down from the broken down ride and onto the gravel, trying to be careful not to cut your feet. You were still in your pajamas and barefoot.
"I wonder if Jack is around?"
You walked past many old tents and game huts, attempting to find the black and white fellow, but he seemed to be nowhere to be found.
"Jack? Are you here?" You quietly called. The carnival had a very unnerving silence to it, making you a tad nervous to speak loudly.
You suddenly heard a noise from one of the tents as you got closer to it, it sounded like a person walking around inside.
You tip-toed over and peaked inside, seeing Jack looking a bit bored. He was humming 'Pop goes the Weasel' to himself as he paced around the tent with a lollipop in his mouth.
"Jack?" You spoke up.
At hearing your voice he stopped in his tracks and almost immediately turned around, smiling widely when he saw you.
"(Y/n)!" He cheered with the lollipop still in his mouth and ran over to you, pulling you into a hug and nuzzling his head on top of yours like he always did.
You giggled a little and hugged back, you were starting to enjoy Jack's hugs more and more with each time he gave them to you, they always gave you this warm feeling inside, you weren't sure why but you didn't think too much into it.
After a few minutes he pulled away and looked down at you.
"I was so hoping you'd try the candy." Jack said happily after removing the lollipop from his mouth.
You looked at him curiously. "What exactly was that candy for?" You asked.
Jack paused for a moment, eyeing the lollipop and then looking back at you in thought, then answered: "It was a special candy, just like I wrote in the note. It was made so that when you ate it, you would be sent here; to my carnival."
