"Sometimes you have to do things that you don't want to do."

Shawn's POV;

I walked out of the studio and sat down on the couch. I was tired and wanted to sleep but if I wanted this album to come out soon I need to finish it up. I started to close my eyes till I heard the door open.

"Shawn we have to talk." My manager, Andrew, said.

I groaned, "I don't want to talk I just want rest."

"Well that's not an option at the moment. We have important things to discuss." He says taking a seat across from me.

I sat up and looked up at him already feeling irritated, "What is it this time?" I asked.

He sat back in the chair, "Publicity, they want more Shawn. You've been big for the past 5 years and they want more." He explained and I raised my eyebrow in question.

"What? What could they possibly want?" I asked.

"They want you to have someone on your arm. Find a girlfriend." He says and I laughed.

He didn't laugh back, "Wait are you serious?" I asked as I got up and paced my room.

"That's what your publicity team said, they said it'd be good if you had someone. You'd get bigger and the paparazzi feed off of it." He explains.

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah they feed off of it and twist things around. How exactly is getting a girlfriend good for my image?" I asked starting to feel upset.

"They want to make your life seem more interesting. They want to see inspiration for your music." He says.

I scoffed, "My fans are my inspiration why do I need a girl?" I ask.

"I don't know Shawn, just get one. And please make it someone that's believable. We don't need a one night stand blowing things up for you." He said as he got up and walked out.

I ran my fingers through my hair and laid back onto the couch. What the heck was I going to do? How the fuck was I going to find a girl that would be believable? Someone who won't fall for me after its all over?

I didn't want someone to be tied down to. I liked the way I lived right now. No relationship, just one night stands. No girls expecting you to call back. Nothing. Just a win win situation.

Brian walks in and has a questioning look, "What's wrong with you?" He asks and I shake my head.

"I'll tell you in a bit but right now I need some food." I say as I get up and grab my phone and wallet.

We walk out of the studio and got in my jeep. I drove us to the nearest In-N-Out. When we got there we ordered our food then went to go sit down at a table to wait.

"So what's got you all upset?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Some stupid shit, I have to find a girlfriend." I say and he raised his eyebrows in question.

"Okay one why is it stupid and two why?" He asked.

"They claim it will boost up my publicity. It's stupid because I don't want a damn girlfriend." I said.

Our order number had been called so Brian went to go get it. I looked out the window and looked at all the girls that passed by. No. Yeah she's pretty but probably not that bright. No. No. No. Would definitely hit but not good enough for a relationship. No. No. No.

This was hopeless. I wasn't going to find someone they should just drop it. Brian came back with our food and we started to eat. As we ate we continued to look at the girls passing by. Even with Brian's opinion we still couldn't find a perfect one. This was going to be harder than I thought.

We finished up eating and then I needed to use the bathroom. Brian threw away the trash and I told him I was going to use the bathroom. I headed over and used the bathroom, I washed my hands before walking out and then walked out.

My phone buzzed and I pulled it out to see who texted me when someone bumped into me.

"OW." They said as they hit the floor with a thud.

"You should watch where you're going." I say looking down at the brown haired girl.

She looked up at me and she had long curly brown hair. She had long eyelashes that made her light brown eyes shine. She had perfect lips and a cute nose...wait cute? She was slim with curves in all the right places. Damn.

"Yeah I'll make sure to use my X-ray vision to see when a walking wall is coming near me." She said sarcastically.

"Wall? Sorry you're a dwarf sweetheart." I mocked.

She gave me a death glare it was really cute, "Not your sweetheart jackass and the least you could do is help me up like a gentleman." She said as she got up and wiped her ass. I wish I could wipe it for her.

"Hunny I'm not a gentleman." I stated.

She rolled her eyes, "Could've fooled me, last I checked they didn't allow pets in here. But I guess they make exceptions for asses like you." She's so feisty.

"Well as much fun as this has been, I've got to go people to see and places to be." I said.

"I feel sorry for those people." She commented and I just shook my head.

I walked away and went towards Brian, he raised his eyebrow. I looked back and the feisty brunette was gone. I couldn't help but feel my gears turning at the thought of her being my fake girlfriend.

"Uh oh I know that look, what are you thinking?" He asked.

"That's her. She's perfect, not a sore eye, hates my guts, so she won't fall for me. Perfect." I say and he scoffs.

"Yeah keep telling yourself that." He says as we walk out of the restaurant.

"No I'm serious I could even pay her. She's the one. I can feel it, this whole publicity thing will be easy as cake with her." I say as we got into my car.

I started up the car as Brian buckled up, "And you're so sure she'd do it? Dude you don't even know who she is how on earth will you see her again?" He asked as I back out of the parking space.

"Oh trust me I'll find her." I say and Brian just shakes his head.
