It's been five months, pregnant that is. Shawn had been the most cautious person I had ever met. For someone who had such a jackass demeanor when we first met. I mean he's always tried to make me feel safe even when we didn't have feelings for each other yet.

But now he's literally taken every step to making sure I eat healthy. He's taken me to everyone of my doctor appointments. We got to know the sex of the baby as well but we didn't want to know it. Instead we told Lauren she could know which has lead us to this day.

The baby reveal slash baby shower. It was kind of random I mean most want to know the sex but I think we didn't care so we thought we'd make it a surprise instead.

I woke up needing to pee badly. I sat up and got out of bed and towards the restroom. Shawn wasn't even in the room which was weird. He's usually always around me asking if I needed anything.

Once I was done using the bathroom I washed up and then walked out. I smelled food and heard a bunch of talking from downstairs. I walked carefully down the stairs.

Once I got to the bottom I seen all the decorations. A bunch of blues and pinks filled the room. Whether it was table decorations, balloons, or streamers. It all looked so nice and that's when I remembered what today was.

I seen Lauren and Shawn both talking, I even saw my mom and Shawn's mom talking. When did she even get in town? She didn't even tell me when she landed or anything.

"Mom?" I questioned out loud.

Everyone then turned to me and my mom looked over. She smiled and said 'excuse me' to Karen before walking towards me. I met her halfway before I was in her embrace.

"Mom when did you get here?" I asked.

She pulled us apart and smiled, "Last night, Shawn went to the airport and picked me up. Apparently you're a deep sleeper." She laughed.

"Mom if I knew you were flying in last night I would've went myself." I told her suddenly feeling like I wanted to cry.

"Oh Roni don't cry." She laughed as she wiped my stray tears away.

I laughed, "I didn't mean to it's the whole hormone thing."

Everyone then laughed, "Morning sweets." I then heard Shawn say.

I punched his arm and he looked shocked, "Hey what did I do?" He asked.

"That was for not waking me up to go and get my mom." I pout.

He chuckled, "You were tired, and earlier you were complaining of not being able to sleep because we've got a kicker in there." Shawn said as he placed his hands on my belly.

"I know but I would've dealt with it if I knew it was for my mom." I tell him.

He nodded his head, "Okay I'll remember that for the future." He told me.

He then leaned down and kissed my forehead then my lips. I kissed him back before going around and saying hi to everyone here so far. Luckily the party doesn't start for another few hours.
