41. Tease

"You can look but not touch."

Veronica.

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I turned around and grabbed my phone and seen it was barely 9 in the morning. I sighed and got up and out of bed. I collected all the trash from the food and before walking out of the guest room.

I walked down the stairs and across the way to the kitchen. I walked in and seen and sleepy Shawn sitting on the barstool. He had his computer in front of him and was focused on what he was typing. His hair was messed and bags were under his eyes.

I walked on to where the trash was and threw the bag away. I then walked over to the coffee machine and started it up.

"Good morning." I say since he clearly wasn't.

He looked up from his computer and looked over at me, "Morning...what on earth are you wearing?" He asked.

I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion before looking down. I was wearing an oversized knitted sweater that fell off one shoulder and ended mid thigh.

"What do you mean?" I asked still not understanding what he's asking.

He smirked, "You're such a tease you know that?"

That's when it clicked, I rolled my eyes. I poured coffee into my cup and walked over to the fridge.

"Shawn stop." I say before pouring some creamer into my coffee.

"What I'm not doing anything it was just a question." He said innocently.

I looked at him with a serious look, "Oh I'm sure that's what your mouth said but your eyes said something else."

He then closed his laptop and leaned forward, "Oh yeah? And what is it my eyes said?"

I poured the sugar into my cup and stirred it all together, "Don't play dumb Shawn you know darn well what you were doing."

"I have no idea what you're talking about Ace." He said before leaning back.

He then opened his computer and started typing again, "Hey Ace come here I need your opinion on something."

I put down my cup and walked over to him. Once I got close I looked at his screen wondering what he wanted my opinion on. Just then he wrapped his arms around me and had me trapped. His computer wasn't even on, I turned to look at him.

"You tricked me." I say with a smile on my face.

He smiled down at me, "Indeed I did."

I sighed, "So what do you want?" I asked.

"To hold you, kiss you, hug you." He said but didn't act on either.

I bit my lip, "Oh yeah? Well that's going to suck cause you know darn well you can't."

"Yeah I know but I do know one thing I am going to do." He says with a toothy smile.

I raise my eyebrow and laugh, "Oh yeah?"

"Yeah." He says bringing me closer to him.

"And what is that?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck.

That made him smile bigger, "I'm taking you my darling, out on a date."

Hearing him say darling made my heart swell with bliss. Then when I heard date as if possible it grew bigger with happiness.

I smiled, "Oh that sounds amazing. When and where?" I asked.

"That Ace...is a secret." He chuckled.

I pouted, "That's not fair."

He then lets go of me and gets off the stool to put his cup in the sink, "Sucks being teased doesn't it?" He asked with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes before going and grabbing my cup, "You're an ass."

"You started it Ace." He said.

I narrowed my eyes at him, "And I'll end it because just so you know I'm wearing lacy underwear and no bra." I say with a smile.

His face turned serious and his jaw clenched. I shot him a wink before taking my coffee and walking out. I went back upstairs and into the guest room. I went over and sat on my bed and continued to watch Teen Wolf.

After four episodes my door opened and a newly showered Shawn walked in. He was dressed thank goodness but was currently drying his hair with a towel.

"I have two meetings I have to go to then I'll get back and change and we can go out." He told me.

I nodded my head, "Okay what should I wear?"

"Something comfortable." Was all he said before he walked out of the room.

Something comfortable? What can he have planned? Knowing him he's completely different. I mean from the first few moths we spent together to now. Who knows what he has planned.

If someone would've told me all those months ago when I accepted this deal. That I would end up falling in love with him I'd think they lost their mind. I would've never fallen for an asshole like him. But here I am. I'm in love with that idiot and can't help it.

Of course I'm making him work for it but only because I want to make sure his intention is true. I don't want to be another game to him. I don't want to be treated like all his other one night stands.

So I'm pushing him to become a better man, the man I love and want to trust. To trust enough with all of my heart, he already has half and that's already scary.

But I just have to trust him now and hope he is true to his words. That I am what he wants and he's not afraid to scream it on top of buildings.

Cause I am utterly in love with him.

Here's an update! Sorry I've been so busy with school :(
Then things happened and I just wasn't feeling good so I just hadn't been myself. I can't promise I'll update everyday or even every two days. Just stick with me and be patient and I promise I'll give you guys an update when I can.
