"My turn."

•••

Veronica.

It was Wednesday afternoon and I had just got out of the shower from my workout. I dried my hair and put on my thong and bra before putting on some spandex shorts and a oversized sweatshirt. I also put on some thigh high socks and slipped on my black fuzzy slides.

It was all gloomy outside I loved it. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs to get something to eat. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a apple and water. I turned around and went to the living room.

I sat on my phone as I ate my apple, as I scrolled on my feed I heard a roar of thunder. I looked up at the large widows that were high on the wall. Sure enough dark gray clouds were coming in and it started to pour.

I then seen the door to the music room open and Shawn walk out. He didn't acknowledge me but it was better if he didn't. When we got home from the label party on Friday he didn't talk to me at all. He just got home, changed, and then walked back out.

I know he probably went to find someone else. I didn't care, as long as he knew not to play with me. He had left me alone for the past few days, I genuinely think I scared him. It made me laugh a little.

Then my laughter disappeared as I seen him walk over and sit down on the other couch. He was on his phone so he wasn't really looking at me. Well so I thought.

"It says it's going to get worse later." He claims.

I was confused and he just pointed to the window. Oh the rain.

"Yeah well I actually love the rain." I say as I look up at the clear windows.

The rain falling harshly, tapping the window as they dropped onto it. It hardly rains here and in Arizona but when it does, I love it. I also love seeing lightening and hearing the thunderclap. I just find this weather soothing.

"Why? You can't do anything but stay inside." He asks.

I look over at him and shrug my shoulders, "I don't know it's just soothing. I love hearing and looking at it."

I was so captivated in looking at it that I didn't even realize he didn't have a sarcastic remark. I look over at him and he was just looking at me.

"What?" I asked him suddenly feeling self conscious.

I mean the way he looked at me wasn't normal. I mean not for him anyways. He always either looks at me like I'm dumb or like he's checking me out. But the way he was looking at me was like he was fascinated in what I had to say.

"Nothing, it's just I've never heard you talk about something like that. It's like how I talk when people ask me why I like making music." He tells me being completely sincere.

I give him a smile, "Well you never ask. You just become a sarcastic idiot and make me angry."

"I like seeing you angry, it's hot." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes, "I should've known you wouldn't be able to keep being nice for a few seconds longer."

"You've lived here...what? Three weeks already? And you still haven't figured that out?" He chuckled.
