A girl with both red hair and eyes dressed in a grey cloth top that exposed her stomach and cleavage with a long grey skirt with a slit cut up to her mid thigh stopped us.
"Where do you think you're going?" She asked
I stepped in front of Lily to protect her, "Stay behind me." I whispered behind my shoulder
"We are leaving but thanks for hosting."
The red haired girl snickered
"No, I really don't think you are."
She lunged at me with a dagger but I stopped her with my own.
"No, see I really think we are." I smirked
She was strong but I was stronger and knocked her back a few feet. She lunged at me again I dodged it but she turned on her heels and retaliated quickly. I had almost no time to react but I blocked her once more. Then I knocked her back and lunged at her gut. She almost blocked me, almost, but I scraped her side with my blade. She let out a cry and held her side.
"Is that all you got?" she asked before lunging at me again.
Sloppy form, you left yourself wide open.
I blocked her easily and struck her stomach.
She grasped her stomach and fell over.
"Well, finish me off." She looked at me with fire in her eyes
I would've granted her death wish but Lily grabbed my sleeve and pulled me back into reality.
"No Jack, we'll tell Strider and Swift Breeze to take care of her, he is Swift Breezes sister after all maybe he can knock some sense into her. It wouldn't be fair to him if we took her life."
She looked over at Strider and Swift Breeze with concern then at me.
I looked at her in shock for a second that she already knew so much about this tribe in so little time. Then I nodded and took her hand.
"Are you hurt?" I asked as we were running
"No, I'm fine Strider and Swift Breeze never wanted to hurt me."
"Good, but how did you get them to help you?" I asked curiously
"Easy they told me that Silver Wind was never mentally stable and wanted to leave the tribe a long time ago. They told me they would have nowhere to go so I told them we could help them out. They knew they would have to hold Silver Wind back while we fought off Swift Breezes sister, Breeze. I told them that they were always welcome to come visit or at least seek refuge in my tree fort until the Crescent Moon Tribe accepted them. They said I was the first person ever to help them and were very grateful. I know this won't be the last time we see them."
"You're really good with people aren't you?"
Lily laughed, "Yah I get that a lot."
