(Mitch's POV)

"Mitch why aren't you down stairs!?" i heard my mom yell from downstairs. I took a deep breath before grabbing my bag, quickly swinging it over my shoulder as I ran from my room.

I came into the kitchen hoping she wasn't in too bad of a mood but of course she was. She glared at me from behind the counter.

"You're going to be late. God what the hell are you wearing?" she questioned and I sighed grabbing my lunch off the counter.

"Obviously something you don't like." I muttered and she cocked her eyebrow at me.

"Excuse me? Don't test me sweetheart. Go change." she demanded and I rolled my eyes leaving the kitchen.

"Sorry, like you said I'm going to be late." I said and ran out the front door before she could insult me for the thousandth time.

I took a deep breath running my hand through my hair as I started my walk to school. I met up with Kirstie half way there finally bringing a smile to my lips.

"She be mean to you again?" she asked and I just simply nodded. She linked our arms together and frowned, "I'm sorry."

"It's fine, nothing new." I shrugged and we skipped our way to school. We walked to my locker and the rest of our friend crowded around talking about their weekend.

I laughed as Kevin described his weekend, "Of course you would spend your weekend at the library." everyone giggled as I put some of my books in my backpack fro my next few classes.

"Hey! Nobody goes to libraries anymore it's actually pretty nice. I don't have to deal with idiots like you!" he elbowed me and I put my hand on my heart acting offended.

"Whatever Kevin. That actually sounds nice. I wont have to hear my mother's yapping." i closed my locker and they laughed except Kirstie who looked at me sadly. She was the only one who knew what was really happening. I leaned back on my locker and we talked about random things until the bell rang.

Everyone scurried to their classrooms and I just took a second to lean my head back on my locker. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath clutching my books to my chest.

My mom's words were really getting to me and I couldn't stop it. I sighed for the thousandth time and started rushing to my next class. I didn't even see the tall blonde in front of me until my shoulder knocked everything out of his hands.

"Oh my... I'm so sorry!" I immediately started picking the books and papers up. I stood up and handed them to him. I had to look up to meet his eyes and they were probably the most beautiful thing in the world.

"It's fine." he whispered before rushing the opposite direction. He sounded frustrated, he was probably annoyed that I knocked all his stuff over. Wow what a great first impression.

I ran to my first class barely making it before the bell rang. My friend Alex looked up at me and smiled before frowning. He leaned over and whispered to me as the teacher started talking.

"You okay?" he asked and I nodded.

"Rough morning but I'm good." I whispered back. He nodded but I could tell he didn't quiet believe me.

I walked into my art class and noticed the blonde I bumped into earlier sitting in the back corner. How did I never notice him before? That's because he always sits alone and never talks to anyone. I wish he did.

I sat in the usual empty desk next to him. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him take a double take. My best friend (besides Kirstie) Sam came in and looked at me questioningly. He walked up to my seat.
