Chunin Exams: Part 3

I jolted up, screaming. Sasuke was right there, waking me up.

"Sorry, I'm sorry." that was the third time tonight.

"Your really pissing me off, Kyoko."

"What did I do?"

"Your making me loose sleep." I noticed the dark lines under his eyes.

I bet I have them too.

"What are you doing?" I asked alarmed. I was pulled out of my thoughts by Sasuke, pulling up the covers with him in my bed.

"What do you think I'm doing? God, your such a loser. Because of you, I get no sleep. Now you owe me."

"No!"

"Don't worry, I won't try anything bad." he snuggled into the second pillow that I didn't use.

He quickly fell asleep. I laid back down on my bed. I felt comfortable, safe with him by my side. I quickly fell into another sleep filled with nightmares.

Morning

I woke up feeling warmer than usual. When I opened my eyes, I see Sasuke sleeping right in front of me. Not only that, he was holding me. His arms were wrapped around my waist while he was sleeping.

I poked his cheek a few times before he finally awake. He slowly opened his eyes. When he saw me right there and realized that he was holding me, he jolted up and off the bed.

His cheeks slowly became a bright blush pink.

"What are you doing?!" he yelled from the other side of the room.

"What am I doing?! What are you doing!? Your the one who wrapped their arms around me!" he opened his mouth to speak but then closed it.

"Whatever. I'm gonna go change so I won't be late." he quickly left and slammed the door.

Sasuke

I can't believe I did that in my sleep. How did that even happen? Whatever. I just need to get dressed and go to that exam.

Kyoko

Sasuke and I arrived at the same time. Everytime we made eye contact, we both turned away, slightly blushing.

A girl with purple hair came out of the meeting spot.

"Okay, maggots! I am Anko Mitarashi. For this exam you will be going into this forest of death.(I think) Every test will get a scroll. There is a heaven scroll and an earth scroll. When 1 team gets both of those scrolls, you will meet me at the center of the forest inside the tower. You have five days to complete this mission. Line up and get your scrolls." she through a kunai so close to Naruto, for talking, that it almost hit him.

"Shut up maggot!" a boy with a gross looking tongue picked it up and handed it back to the sensei using his tongue.

"Here."

"Why thank you." she said politely.

Every team lined up to get a scroll.

"That tongue boy creeps me out." I whispered to Sakura.

"Talk about weirdo." she whispered back.

We got the heaven scroll. The minute we heard the whistle blow, we all jolted inside the forest.

Time Skip

"This seems like a descent spot. We should camp out here." Sasuke pointed out.

We all settled into the spot and laid out some leaves for cushion.

"Oh no. I really gotta go." Naruto started unzipping his pants right in front of us.

"Naruto! You can't pee out in front no me or Kyo! We are girls! Do it behind a bush!" Sakura punched Naruto really hard on the head.

Naruto then left and went to pee. Sasuke made a circle with stones and add some twigs in the middle. He started making hand signs and said, "Fire style: fireball." he blew fire into the circle and started a camp fire.

Just then, Naruto came back.

"Whew! I had so much that I even wrote my name." Sasuke threw a kunai at Naruto.

"Hey what are you doing?!" Naruto jumped up and landed in a tree.

Sasuke jumped with him and punched him strait in the face, making him go flying.

"You're not Naruto. In fact, your even worse than him. Naruto wears his leg band on his left leg. Your is on the right. Now reveal yourself."

A man emerged out of that jutsu and transformed back into his true form.

I felt bad. While Sasuke was the only one fighting, I had to sit to the side.

When he was finally finished, I found Naruto and took him back to the camp area.

*Yawn*"Well I'm gonna go to sleep." Naruto sighed.

"Yeah, me too." Sakura agreed. They both got comfortable in their leaf beds and fell fast asleep.

Sasuke and I however, did not. We could barely even look at each other.

"So." I tried to break the silence.

"So." he said plainly.

"This is gonna be a tough exam."

"Yeah." he answered.

I sat back against a tree. He sat next to me.

"Let's try to break the awkwardness."

"Good idea. Let's just... Act like it never happened." I agreed.

He shook his head in a yes motion. Sasuke moved his arm from his lap to around my shoulder. He pulled me closer to him so I was laying on his chest.

I was blushing like crazy. I looked up at him to see him looking nervous. We stayed like that for awhile until I fell asleep in his arms.
