1- Staying with the Portus

"Avery! Time to wake up!" I heard my dad waking me up. I looked up and saw it was dawn. "We have to go to your cousins for lunch,"

"I'll be ready in a couple of minutes,"

"That's what they all say," he muttered and I nudged him lightly. We both laughed and dad left me to get myself ready. I made my bed and walked over to my cupboard. While I was at Hogwarts, Odette and Felix finished their final year. I got my emerald green cardigan, my light blue shirt and my black skirt. I raced back down stairs and saw mum and dad putting their shoes on.

"Ready?" Mum asked. I nodded. "You better fix your hair up," she said before grabbing my hair and putting some of the front of my hair pinned at the back.

"Thank you,"

"Ready now?" Dad asked impatiently. I smiled and nodded, putting my black sandals on. I walked into the fireplace and held on to mum and dad's hand. "Portus home," and we were off.

"Hi Avery!" Emerald shouted at me when I arrived at the Portus's house. I took my cloak off and put it on the coat stand near the fireplace.

"Uncle Remus! Auntie Tonks!" All of my younger cousins shouted as my parents. They were tackled down with hugs.

"Hello Godric, Mina, Brain," dad greeted. We all nicknamed Brian 'brain' because he was had a very smart and cheeky mouth.

"Mums in the kitchen," Godric piped up. Mum and dad nodded and headed off to the kitchen.

"So......... Guess what's happening at Hogwarts this year," emerald whispered squealed into my ear.

"What?" I asked urgently as we followed the adults.

"The triwizard Tournament,"

"So who are you going for the quidditch cup?" Dad asked passing some vegetables across the table.

"The Bulgarians!" The boys and the girls said excluding me. "I go to school with Vicktor Krum, the seeker," lucifer told us.

"Does Avery know about what's happening at Hogwarts?" Felix asked Em. I nodded.

"Yep, but does anyone know what schools are competing?" I asked them. They all smiled and snickered. "I get it, it's Drumstrings and Beauxbatons,"

"How do you know!?" Lucifer said stunned.

"Because your not good at hiding anything from me," I smirked eating some sausages. We all snickered until mum spoke.

"Avery, Felix is going to the quidditch cup with Odette, Lucifer and Emerald. Felix said it was alright if you would like to join. You received very good marks last year and your father and I thought you deserved a little present, so would you like to go?"

"That would be awesome!" I said smiling. I looked at em who was smiling. "Wait, isn't it only a day away?" I stressed.

"It's alright, we brought you a bag with some spare clothes and change in it," dad said handing me my small bag. I grabbed it and placed it by my side. "Oh, look at the time, we have to go," he said getting out of his chair alongside mum.

"Write us a letter when you get there,"

"Bye," I said hugging both of them. Everyone else did the same except for the hugging but of course. They stepped into the fireplace.

"Ave, after the quidditch cup, we'll be going to get your books," mum informed me, I nodded my head and they were gne in a green flash. We all went back and sat in our seats.

"So, Avery, how was Hogwarts?" Aunt Willow asked.

"It was........eventful," I exaggerated saying 'eventful' because that was just a cover up about the werewolf situation. They all nodded and continued to ask questions.

"Who are you going for in the quidditch cup?"

"How big is Hogwarts?"

"Did Uncle Remus do a good job of being a teacher?"

"Did you meet Harry Potter?"

"Bulgarians, Hogwarts is massive compared to Beauxbatons, dad was the Favourite teacher at Hogwarts and yes, Godric I meet Harry potter and became good friends with him," I told Godric again.

"Alright, all the adults are going to stay in here while the children can get out!" Uncle Zenro joked with us.

"How about you help us with packing?" Odette suggested.

"Sure,"

"Goodnight Girls," aunt Lucinda said as we laid in our beds. I was sleeping in Em's room with Mina and Isla. The room filled with 'good night' or simply just 'night Aunty Lucky/mum'.

"Night Em, Night Mina, night Isla," I said snuggling down into my bed.

"Night," they all said in unison and soon we were all asleep.
