Sailor's point of view^^^Camaro (15)^^^
I was in a cage filled to the brim with water. I was swimming around the pool. They feed me fish everyday like my normal human schedule, breakfast lunch then dinner. I had only one neighboring mermaid, to the left of me. He wouldn't talk to me due to the fact they told us we were to mate, so I couldn't blame him for not talking to me. He needed to show them who's boss. His tail was deformed, I knew because he was in a "human" form but with scales. He might be part siren. I couldn't tell. Before he stopped answering my questions he told me his name was Camaro. I was swimming around the cage to keep fit for when we escaped.
I watched as some scientist carried an unconscious mermaid on a metal table. As I looked closer I noticed it was any mermaid, it was my little sister. It was an unconscious River. She was in her mermaid form and following behind her was the man that started all of this. The man that has a say in where every mermaid goes. Following close behind him was. Connor. I was surprised as to why he was here. I listened closely to the conversation they were having getting some of it.
"Good job, Connor. You did well. I'm proud of you, son." No. That can't be Connor's dad. The man that started all of this. Why, Connor? River loved you. I kept thinking this as they continued their conversation.
"Can you use my DNA in fertilizing her?" I heard him say quietly, almost in a whisper but his father heard him making him stop right at the edge of my cage.
He hummed in thought. "I would like to know how mermaid DNA mixes with human DNA. What would happen? What would the child look like?" He turned to Connor. "If we do this. Your mother cannot know about it. Alright?" Connor nodded his head in agreement. His father turned but not before looking inside my cage and smiling at me. To seem like I wasn't snooping in their business I began swimming around the cage again. They turned back around and went back to following River; to who knows where.
I stopped swimming when they completely lost sight of them, sinking to the sand on the bottom the of cage. In the corner of my eye I saw Camaro swim towards me, as close as he could get. He tapped my glass seeking my attention. I turned to him where he was smiling at me, trying to comfort me in anyway possible. I swam closer to him wanting comfort.
"What's wrong?" He asked in mermaid speech.
"That was my little sister." I turned back to where I saw them disappear. With that said no other words were spoken. We sat in silence.
