^^^Addison (19)^^^

We were held up in our family home with all the doors and windows locked making sure no one could come in. Tina and Todd wanted a drink a few hours back after I tucked them back in I went back to my room where I have been staring at the ceiling for hours since I wasn't able to go back to sleep. I needed to do something, anything. I got up walking to the kitchen to make breakfast since it wasn't long until everyone woke up. I pulled out the bacon and pancake mix. I started with the bacon, cutting them up I then place them on a pan with the burner on. I then begin the pancake mix pouring one pancake on the pan on another hot burner. I cooked pancakes while flipping bacon. I did this for an hour or so before people started getting up for the breakfast I made them.

I smiled at Chris who was carrying Wendy and Wanda on each hip before placing the sleepy children on a stool. Fallowing close behind him was Katelyn while holding Todd and Tina's hands. Lucy walked in with a phone close to her ear as her children, Julia and Juliet, tried to gain her attention. She wasn't having it, she just pointed to the stools for them to sit. I walked as their faces fell thinking their mother would be a mother to them this once but no instead I filled both of them a plate before turning and handing them one with a smile on my face that they didn't return. I then made my children food giving them smiles that they returned. I heard Molly start climbing down the stairs. I began to make her a plate as Chris made his children plates.

Setting down Molly's food I heard a noise. Could've been Lucy falling with how many times she does it on a daily basis. The thought that it was Lucy left my head when I heard her screaming in the livingroom. I looked at Chris before I turned off the stove as Chris ran to where Lucy was. When I joined them I watched as Chris attacked the stranger who broke into our house. Chris punched him in the mouth causing him to spit blood. He jumped onto my brother without any warning that he was even thinking of doing that.

Chris was pinned to the ground with the stranger on top of him giving punch after punch. I turned and saw Lucy wasn't going to do anything so I ran up to them, grabbed the man and pulled him off my brother. I pinned him down giving him punched like he did to Chris. He spat blood on my face when I took a break to breath. Chris then dragged him to a chair he must've taken out of the kitchen at some point. My little Molly handed him duck tape securing him to the chair. Chris looked at his work with satisfaction.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Chris hissed at him while Lucy kept crying about nothing. I turned to the children to have them leave the room telling them to go upstairs and wait for us.

"It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is that they want you." This earned him a punch to the jaw with more blood dripping out of his mouth.

"Who is they?" Chris hissed while he held his hair in his fist.

"The ones who paid me. They know what you are, siren." He said siren like it gave him a bad taste in his mouth. "Even if you kill me, they'd still claim you as theirs." Chris turned to me for assistance in what to do.

"We can leave. I'll start packing we can go where Lucas is." I told him making him nod. "Once you're done with him tell Lucas." I then turned to go upstairs as I passed a still crying Lucy who was only crying to gain someone's attention.

"Lucy, stop." As soon as I told her to she did. Looking up she waited for her instructions. "Go be a mother to your children." I said turning to the scared children on the stairs I gave them a small smile before climbing upstairs to pack.
