Gorillaz, where?

Chapter 3

Later on, in the kitchen, Russel and Russelina prepared dinner while 2D and Stella where observing them cooking and listening to that dimension's Gorillaz songs. When they finished cooking Noodle and Guy showed up still singing " DARE".

"You've got to press it on you

You just think it

That's what you do, baby

Jump with them all and move it

Jump back and forth

And feel like you were there yourself

Work it out ."

" I can see you two had fun. I listened to you two playing guitar earlier and it was really surprising how you two have the same talent." Russelina said looking to Guy who was playing an imaginary guitar.

" I know! Amazing, isn't it? What's dinner? I could eat something."

" Wait. Where's Murdoc and Murdeen?" Noodle asked, looking around trying to find him.

" I don't know, Baby Girl. Maybe they are summoning some demons while drowning themselves on whisky." Russel turned to Russelina. " When will we start fixing the machine?"

" I don't know. I don't have any clue of how to fix it. Maybe together we can try to fix it." Russelina replyed preparing to eat her dinner.

" Okay, later we discuss that. Now we eat before the satanists come and eat everything."

Guy walked down Kong's dark corridor, guiding Noodle and 2D to some rooms they found that weren't full of zombies and spirits.

" Well, here we are. It's not some five stars hotel room but it will have to be enough for you to stay until the machine is fixed." Guy said pointing to four rooms in the end of the girls hall.

" Thanks." Noodle smiled and entered a room. It wasn't very big but it was cozy and the walls weren't as cracked as the other rooms.

The japanese girl sat down on her bed. A knock echoed in the room. She looked to the door and there was standing Russelina with some bed sheets and blankets and gave them to Noodle. Then Stella knocked on the door.

" Can I come in? I brought you sum of my clothes. They may fit yew." Stella said smilling and handed them to the guitarist and walked away.

" Night Noodle."

" Good night Stella."

Two days passed since the Gorillaz arrived the new dimension. Murdoc and Murdeen were not seen since they arrived, always locked on Murdeen's room or in her Winnebago. 2D's recovering was noticed by everyone since he now talked but with an annoyingly hoarse voice and spend most of his time talking with Stella about their experiences in the band and the albums. 2D discovered that her band was still going to do one more gig before they start working on their new album. Russel and Russelina weren't seen due to the work they had fixing the machine except at lunch and dinner time.

Noodle and Guy spend their time together creating music and talking about their lifes.

" What was your hardest time in the band, Noodle?" Guy asked lied down in the middle of the El Mañana's garden.

" I think it was when... the hardest thing ever hitted me..."

" Murdoc getting drunk and walk naked in the studios?" Guy started laughing with Noodle.

" I was thinking of puberty." Noodle said getting up and walking to the edge of the island.

" Yeah, that was a tough but I think the worst time in my life in Gorillaz was after the " El Mañana" incident. The band simply fell apart all because Murdeen tried to "help" us."

" Yeah. That was a dark time. And you know what hurted more than beeing lost in the see for an eternity?" Noodle asked sitting on the edge of the floating island.

" What?"

" Beeing replaced by some cyborg Murdoc built." Noodle sounded desappointed. " What happened to it anyways?"

" Ours got destroyed after Plastic Beach was invaded by pirates."

Noodle listened to a sound. A familiar one. It was a guitar but the most surprising was the music. It was the initial chords of " El Mañana". When she turned around she faced Guy that started singing.

"Summer don't know me no more

Just died, yeah"

" That song..." Noodle got up and walked towards the guitarist.

" I know my voice isn't as good as Stuart's but this is the best I can do since..." He couldn't finish since Noodle had kneeled in front of him and hugged him.

" It was beautiful. Almost as good as Stuart." Guy pushed Noodle pretending beeing upset but couldn't held smiling as he looked deep into the girls eyes as night fell and the orange light hitted her dark hair making that moment even more beautiful. Guy leaned closer to her but someone called.

" C'mon. Dinner's ready." Stella yelled from a window next to the island.

Noodle stretched her hand towards Guy and helped him getting up and walked with him inside the studio.
