*Flashback*
"Come on Craig, keep up" I called as I pedaled even faster.
We love riding bikes together.

"Vic, please slow down" he yelled, breathlessly. I didn't slow down.

I've never been really competitive at bike riding, but right now I just wanted to go as fast as possible.

"Please" he called, I didn't take it seriously but deep down I knew that I had to stop.

I put my foot down to stop my bike after I slowed down a little, as soon as I did I heard a crash.

Craig fell.

I dropped my bike and turned around to run, he wasn't too far back. I ran over to where he was laying, his leg was scraped up pretty badly but other than that he seemed fine.

"I told you to slow down" he cried and grabbed his leg.

"I'm so sorry" I said as I sat on the ground beside him. I felt like crying now.

I shouldn't have kept going.

I noticed blood trickling down his arm and now it was apparent to me that he cut his arm too.
I looked at the scrape, it was much worse than the one on his knee but he was still okay.

He can't ride back home.

Blood was soaking his sleeve so I carefully pulled it back. When I pulled his sleeve back I noticed a large bruise on his arm, close to his shoulder.

What?

I looked at Craig's face, he almost looked scared or ashamed.

This couldn't have happened from the fall.

"What happened?" I asked, almost instantly he pulled his eyes away from mine.

"You know what happened, you just watched me fall" he laughed and pulled his sleeve down just a little bit.

He's lying.

"Okay. You stay here" I said as I started to stand up.

"No, please don't leave me" his face was mixed with fear and confusion.

"Craig, I don't have a phone, I need to get my dad so he can come back and get you. You can't ride back like this" I explained. Did he actually think I would leave him here?
*End of Flashback*
(Kellin's POV)

"We'll pay" Jack said as the five of us sat down.
I always felt terrible when they paid for us, but I've learned to deal with it because Jack and Alex have done sneaky things in the past to make sure the bill arrived with them.

They don't always pay, I pay about every other time we go to dinner or lunch.

It's been awhile since the five of us have gotten together. I have dinner with Jack and Alex about once or twice a week, sometimes more. They usually cook.
Sometimes Tay and Jenna will stop by my office and bring lunch, I spend my lunch break with them.

But the five of us are rarely together at the same time. Jack and Alex are friends with Tay and Jenna but they aren't as close.

I'm pretty happy with my friend group. Of course I would love to make a few more friends, but the friends I have are amazing.

The only part of my life I'm really unsatisfied with, is the fact that I'm alone most of the time.
I spend my day with clients, and I have four good friends, but at the end of the day I'm going home to an empty house, to an empty bed.

My longing for a significant other only grows stronger when I see Jack and Alex together, or Tay and Jenna.
I want someone to go home to, I want someone to make me feel special.

As the server came around, I already knew what I wanted. It's what I always get.
"Orange chicken please" I spoke lightly, smiling at the waitress. I feel like I've seen her dozens of times.

I smiled at Jenna from across the table, she winked at me.
She told the waitress her order last and then the five of us were left alone again.

"So" Jack started "any new clients?" He asked me, turning everyone's attention towards my answer.

"I get new clients every week" I laughed. He already knew that.
Some of my clients see me once a month, some see me once every other week, some see me once a week, some see me every five months.
They're all different.

"Any cute ones?" Tay asked, making Jack nod in agreement with her question.

"Yeah, there's a cute one" I said, making Alex raise his eyebrows.

There's a few cute ones.
Just none as cute as my newest client.

"Go for it" Jenna laughed as the waitress handed out our plates.

"I doubt he's gay" I said, giving a pouty face.

"Excuse me, you're Kellin Quinn, you can change that if you want to" Tay joked, making my four friends laugh.

"I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have a relationship with a client" I replied, stating the facts that no one could really argue with.

Of course if Jack was a therapist and Alex was the client, that wouldn't stop them from being together.
Still, I can't date a client, I would have to refer him to someone else and I want to help him.

Why am I even thinking about this? He's my client.

I took a bite of my chicken and chewed it slowly, looking around at my friends.

"Okay" Jack said sitting up straighter, smiling brighter.
"We have something to tell you" He said, making me smile as I asked myself the thousand questions going through my head.

I nodded for him to go on, Alex was smiling up at him.

"Alex and I" he started, he always did this for suspense.
"Are" he kept up the suspense.
"Getting married on December 8th" he said all at once.

They've been engaged so long, it's really great that they're planning their wedding now. Their wedding is only about three months away.

"Yay!" I said lightly, smiling largely. Tay hugged the boys while Jenna just smiled real big at them.

"That's so great" Tay said.

"Kellin will be our best man" Alex said, smiling shyly at me.

I wasn't expecting to be the best man, that's a big deal.

I'm sorry the chapter isn't too great, thanks for reading!
