*Flashback*
Uh oh.
I watched as Craig eyed me in the hall.
He's not happy.I decided to approach him anyways.
"Hey, Craig" I said as he was jamming stuff in his backpack. He glanced up at me.
"Go away" he mumbled, his face was angry but he just sounded sad.
"Why?" I asked, feeling hurt. He never tells me to go away, he loves having me around.
"You lied to the counselor. I don't want to be your friend anymore" he said, slinging his bag on his back and walking down the hall to where busses were.
I felt tears in my eyes.
"Craig!" I followed him "I was just worried" I said, catching up."You could've at least asked me first" he said, now sounding angry.
"Does he?" I asked, watching him shake his head almost instantly.
"No" he said, I kept following.
"Go away, Vic. We aren't friends anymore" he said, walking faster.I stopped in the middle of the hall. All of the other kids moved around me, pushing, shoving to get to their bus.
My best friend. My best friend in the whole world. He's gone? He won't change his mind?
I am alone.
*End of Flashback*
(Kellins POV)
After seeing Vic two days ago, I haven't been able to stop thinking of him.
About my (probably untrue) theory with the fish. What makes him so fascinated in the small, swimming creatures?
"Kellin" Tay spoke lightly, getting my attention. I met eyes with her and she smiled.
"Jack and Alex texted me. They said they're parking now and they'll be here in a few minutes" she said, looking down at her phone. We're all going shopping. Not really shopping, more like browsing and just hanging out downtown, checking out the little shops and such.
I'm paying for our meals tonight.
"I wish Jenna could've came" Tay said, still sulking because Jenna is working late tonight.
I gave her a sympathetic look, even though deep down I was kinda glad I wouldn't have to watch two couples love each other tonight. I have Tay all to myself.
"Hey!" Jack called as him and Alex appeared beside us.
They both hugged me and we started walking in the direction they led."I want to go check out that store with the over priced pants" Jack said, confidently.
"Lucky brand?" Tay asked with a small chuckle.
"You know what, I think you're right, miss Jardine" Jack said, pulling on Alex's hand gently.
If you need to know about anything about downtown, ask Tay. Right now we're downtown in the outdoor malls.
It's just a normal mall but it's outside and the little shops are scattered all around."Where is it?" Jack asked after a few minutes of walking.
"Just a few shops up" she said from behind us.
She claims that she walks so slow because she's short, I just think she's lazy.
"Hey, Kellin" Alex said lightly, getting my attention. He smiled at me "how's work?" He asked as Jack finally found the store and started speeding up.
I changed my pace to match theirs, while Tay didn't care to walk any faster."It's good" I said with a smile "I'm helping people, I like that" I said positively.
Helping people is what I live for.
I love it.
