*Flashback*
"Hello Vic" Mrs.Kay said sweetly as I walked into her room.

Why am I here? Why did she call me to her office?

"Hi" I said and sat down in one of the chairs in front of her. Mrs.Kay looked at me expectedly as if I were the one who put myself in here.

"How are you?" She asked, obviously not wanting to make the conversation short or quick.

"I'm good" I said, knowing that if I said I was fine, the adults would think I was lying. Things are always supposed to be good.

"That's good" she said leaving us in a very awkward silence.
I looked around her room, taking note of the pictures of her dog and her kids and her husband. She had a pretty family.
"So" she started, looking at me with a sympathetic look that I didn't deserve.
"You remember last week when we watched that video with your class and talked about it?" She said, finally getting to what she really brought me in here for.

"Yeah" I said as I nodded my head.

My answers seem short, but really I just don't say much.

"Well.. I saw you crying" she said "is everything okay at home?"

That's what this is about. She thinks my parents hurt me?

My parents would never lay a finger on me, ever. Of course my mom pops me when I play in mud or break something, or don't listen to her, but I've never been hit hard enough to call it abuse.

"Yeah, my parents wouldn't hurt me" I said with a smile, trying to assure her.

"Vic, you know I'm here to help you. You can tell me" she said, still not believing me.

She doesn't understand that I wasn't crying for me.

The video said I should tell a counselor or teacher. Should I? Would it help Craig?

It would get his dad to stop, right?
I'm not even sure if his dad is hurting him.

"Well" I started, feeling the shakiness in my voice.
Mrs.Kay nodded for me to continue.
"My friend Craig always has bruises on his arms or legs" I said, finally.

Mrs.Kay looked at me sweetly "is that why you were crying?" She asked. I nodded at her and she wrote something down, she knows that Craig and I are best friends.

I'm helping him, right?
*End of Flashback*
(Kellins POV)

"I'm afraid that's all the time we have today" I said as I stood up, shaking hands with my client.

My next client will be Vic Fuentes.

"Thank you" she said with a big smiled as I showed her to the door.

"You have a nice day, now" I said as she walked out into the waiting room.

I smiled at her as she left. I noticed that Vic was already here, even though he had ten more minutes to his appointment.

"Hey, Vic" I said, smiling. He met eyes with me but pulled them away quickly and smiled.

Why is he nervous?

"You can come on in" I said as I held the door. He slowly got up, a manner than made him look elderly.
When he started walking across the waiting room I noticed him limping slightly.
Not really limping, but dragging his foot a little, not walking on it completely.

When he got in my room, he sat down as slowly as he had gotten up.
I smiled at him as I took the seat across from him.

"How are you today?" I asked, trying to get him to meet my eyes.
